Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Wow -- I received notification that the AT&T Guarantee is working!

AT&T sent me an email that I will be receiving a $0.33 credit for multi-hour internet outage earlier this week. AT&T, in the kindness of their heart, rounded up to make sure I was fully compensated for the outage. And to make it even better, I only have to wait a couple of billing cycles for me to receive it! What a great program!

Let me break down "The AT&T Guarantee" , let me make it real clear.... It amounts to a corporation p-e'ing on the customers leg, and then convincing said customer to not worry because it's only rain.

Are we all caught up ?

They need to compensate me for every time I don’t have a signal and everyone else around me who has a different carrier does. It is very embarrassing when that happens and people know that I’m an employee and I can’t even get a bar on my phone.

Why are you still using AT&T for personal Internet service?

Did you calculate how much you paid during that outage? Knowing how much they charge, even with that stupendous refund, they probably still turned a profit on you during the outage.
