Welcome to the new FactSet to ring in the new fiscal year. Demolishing the company culture and we all just have to be grateful to not get laid off. This guy has been here for less than six months lol

@br seriously voluntary buyout with a respectable package. Would take it tomorrow
@br sign me up.
This kid needs to do his homework and go to bed at 8 o clock. Claude how do I how to lower costs
If any ELT are reading this, just offer voluntary redundancy with a decent package like 4-5 months +1 week for each year of service. I am sure ELT only care about their own package only
But don't worry, FactSet is still a great place to work because we are checks "client-first and kind to each other."
@ay 'confirmed that they are working on better office attendance tracking tech with details to come soon there" - where is this mentioned ?
First they came for oat milk, I said nothing, because I was not vegan.
Then they came for almond milk, I said nothing, because I was not lactose intolerant.
Then they came for Charlotte, I said nothing, because my ex was called Charlotte.
Then they came for Austin, I said nothing, because I don’t like cowboy boots.
Then they came for lunches, I said nothing, because I had died of starvation.
@aw you would think but raises are going to be pitiful as always
@aq elimination and reduction of office perks (no snacks no lunch stipend, cutting back on transportation and travel), no longer allowing employees to relocate to another office, confirmation of the closing of office spaces already communicated by facility managers, discontinue FactSet Charitable Foundation, confirmed that they are working on better office attendance tracking tech with details to come soon there
Honestly all expected except no more office transfers. Maybe they’re trying to consolidate everything in nyc
Execs in town halls being astonished that morale was low a month ago took that as a challenge to push morale even lower
It’s all BS, they’re literally trying to push people to leave. Raises better be decent this year with all these cuts.
There goes the pitiful lunch stipend and the snack and sodas. Saving a couple thousand a year to pi-s off all its workers. The "strategy" is getting people to quit for greener pastures without paying severance. Why not just get rid of offices entirely??
What was announced? I’m no longer with FactSet
@ab su-k it
What is funny and hypocritical about it is his email comes less than 4 hours after Goran’s you did so amazing, we are all so proud of everyone for FY26 email. You crushed it… and here is your lack of reward. They better be putting those dollars toward employee pay increases…
@a5 adults in the room making decisions that are years late in some cases. Global company can't operate like a little CT family and survive.
That said... What is the strategy here? Anyone?
Look, it su-ks but how many months do you think it takes for a new CFO to realize revenue growth of 6ish% and expense growth of 12ish% is not sustainable?
