@at FWIW, that's not how 1:1's were scheduled last year. In some cases they arrived the day before the meeting with the subject "Business Update." 15 minutes? If you're heads down working on something you would probably miss the invite. They want and need you to attend.
I don't think so. If 1:1's were to happen today they would already be scheduled and this board would be lit up like a Christmas tree.
It 1:1 rumor is true, I could easily see the invites going out with less than 15 minutes notice.

@a6 yesterday was a public holiday in the uk so wouldn’t have impacted the uk on that date.

My Director confirmed last week that another big round of layoffs at Oracle is immenent. He could not confirm the date (I think today 9/1).
Layoffs will be happening confirmed by a couple sources that would know. Timing appears to be delayed for some unknown reason. The 3pm 1:1 may very well be true if something happened with this mornings 6am planned email. Some teams in UK and India were impacted yesterday. Today’s focus would be US.

Please note these fake roumors are spread by already laid off people who are no longer in Oracle. As they dont have any jobs to do they seek attention.
