Over 100 Branches closing

What will happen to the those employees of closed branches? Union Bank and US bank? Will they make all of them all float CRCS??

Human resources

What are your thoughts regarding human resources; have you had to get help with employees related instances?

UPS package notification

I recieved an informed delivery notice from UPS that I have a next day air package coming from US Bank. Feels ominous. Do they typically mail the notifications?

Branch closures?

Did the employees of closing branches received jobs? Or they don't know where theyll be?

CRC Turnover

Why do some many CRC’s quit? It is a footprint wide problem. Pay, benefits, incompetent BM’/DM’s? I think it’s the latter. There are people in management here that would not last long elsewhere. Let the branch closures begin so we can get rid of the... — read more

Is the severance policy no longer public?

With the constant chatter of layoffs around the corner, I went to the internal site to read up on the current severance policy. It used to be there but can no longer find. Anyone else experiencing the same and shouldn't this information be available... — read more

“Greedy” Andy selling his US Bancorp stock

Andrew “Greedy Andy” Cecere Sells 84,948 Shares of U.S. Bancorp (NYSE:USB) Stock in a transaction dated Monday, December 12th 2022. Could this be a sign that even he knows that his bloody reign as CEO has run US Bank into the ground?

HUB Manager promotions

Seeing an uptick of Branch Mangers announcing that they have been promoted to Hub Managers. Is this a sign that USB will get rid of Branch Managers and have Hub Managers be in charge of multiple branches instead? Money saving move.

Are TOS leaders and Managers Imbeciles?

The more meetings I attend the more and more it is becoming apparent that TOS is run by imbeciles. D the new CIO only cares about your pedigree. Did you come from McKinsey or Harvard? Middle managers have no clue how to build effective teams. HR... — read more

Branch Closures?

When do you think branch closures will be announced? Also what do you think will happen to ABMs at Union bank?

Union Bank Leaders Need to be Scrutinized

A blessing would be for the USBank leaders and HR staff to pay attention to the actions and culture of incoming leadership, which is abysmal. Incompetence reigns amongst those who are deciding who should remain and who should be severed. A good... — read more

US Bank conversion planners, if you’re listening

You better start clarifying future roles to UB employees and showing them what a “day in the life” looks like at at a USB branch, otherwise you’re about to have a ton of bankers who are woefully unprepared to be tellers, and a ton of tellers who are... — read more

If HR really hangs out here…

It’s a great indication that they need a TON more to do and probably would not be missed if laid off. JFC folks get a life (and a real job!)

Portland lock boxes leader sucks

The old guy wasn’t the best but at least we saw him and he helped out. Never see the new manager. Must he she don’t have time for us.

USB layoffs NOT in the media but how?

Everyone on this board knows that USB like to lay people off. They somehow manage to keep the hatchet jobs out of the media while other banks’ layoffs are widely broadcasted online and on tv. What are your theories on how they fly under the radar? — read more

Laptops for UB

Our group was told they would get laptops mid January, has anybody received notice and/or received equipment? Why would they send hardware if people were going to be let go?

TOS Won't Be Spared This Time

TOS has been insulated from massive layoffs for over a decade. But they will get some this round. There are 3 factors: push to cloud and AI - most people were quietly made redundant by 3rd party machine learning and infrastructure-as-code and... — read more

Any usbank employees ( not union) laid off today?

Layoffs in Wealth Management 2023

Just got word that business line reduction mandate from the top to cut staff has been enacted . Seems to be a bank wide directive.

500 already laid off

This isn't about redundancies

It's funny how many people seem to think that the merger-related layoffs are only due to redundancies and will continue to be about redundancies. They are laying off people who cost the most and keeping/hiring those who cost less. It's that simple... — read more

Well, is this here worth all the stress?

This place has completely drained me. Sometimes the very thought of looking for a new job and starting from scratch made me anxious, but now I can't wait to leave. I realized that nothing here is worth this much stress and worry.
