The head of U.S. Bank is now apologizing for what is being called a classic example of “Banking while Black” after a customer was accused of fraud and put in handcuffs while trying to cash his paycheck. As 5 INVESTIGATES first reported this week, a... — read more
Forced return to the office
So they’re forcing everyone back in the office with zero regard for employees…Us bank has long been out of touch and it’s clear they don’t care
Promotion, titles
Many say that there’s no real compensation tied to promotion and titles, but I wonder if the promotion helped anyone get a much better job elsewhere? If so, then it is still worth the effort to get a promotion. Just sayin'. I don't like people who... — read more
RTO Anxiety: Facing Fake Co-Workers Never Called Since March 2020
What may make me join the Great Resignation parade is not the job or the quality of work. It's the thought I had co-workers with who I shared lunch, professional and personal conversations with suddenly forgot who I was after March 2020. I have... — read more
Under valued
Seems like at US Bank every quarter workers that do the bare minimum are promoted to Officers, Assistant VPs, and VPs. While the hard workers go unnoticed.
No PBP, No Severance and Vaccine Mandates
Since these notifications came out and all the chatter around it at least 30% of the department is ready to call it quits. It’s a complete sh-t show at US Bank. Good luck replacing that many people.
I hope to see a worthwhile promotion one of these days
What we're seeing right now and what we've been seeing for the past several years is mediocre employees with top-notch brown-nosing skills take all the available promotions. This has both created a whole layer of incompetent managers and prompted... — read more
Vaccine Requirements
Prior posts have this former employee wondering: what's U.S. Bank doing for the vaccine requirement debacle? Is there a deadline for current employees to get the covid vaccine? Are they ignoring it and hoping things go away? If memory serves, the... — read more
Email went out to remote workers to attest vaccine status or face disciplinary action
I'm a U.S. based 100% remote worker and receive a frightening email today. If I don't attest vaccine status (confusingly, the email didn't state which vaccine), I will face disciplinary action, lower bonus, etc. You'd think that an email sent out... — read more

As we transition to US Bank, any words of wisdom to those of us concerned with our futures?
Positions that are less and less needed here?
That is, the ones that are least safe here. Which positions are those? Thoughts?
US Bank Layoffs 2022
Is this going to be an interesting year as it relates to US Bank layoffs? Any chatter, news or rumors?
Everything looked much more professional
I may have become too bitter over the years, but I think everything was much more professional in the past. Where has all the professionalism gone? It is as if the standards have been lowered to the maximum. I just hope to go into retirement before... — read more
USB couldn't care less about us
Numerous frustrations arise precisely because many are reluctant to accept the fact that USB does not care at all for its employees. I don’t remember that USB has ever, by any means, showed that they cared about us, or at least for a few of the... — read more

So...is USB finally hanging on to their experienced work force in the wake of nationwide hiring woes?
No activity on this site in the infamous first weeks of October tells me that USB TOS is hurting from all the outsourcing and annual cuts of experienced technical workers. This latest debacle acquisition probably has everyone left there, working 60... — read more
October 1st was announced layoff of call center employees
Wonder what other departments are let go that we don’t know of. I bet there were plenty announced on October 1st and more coming. Happy holidays USBers
No outbound calling department
It’s official - no Outbound department effective 11/01/2021. Andy Fuckere at it again ….cut throat.
Will USB require vaccination for employment?
Thoughts? Will you get the vaccine to remain employed?
Target groups
Is it true that those who haven’t been here much longer than a year are also just as likely to be targeted for cuts as are older employees with years of experience? That's what I heard from several colleagues.

October is coming
We must be about 4-5 weeks from the next round of layoffs. What are folks hearing? Any idea which areas will be hit? Expecting the TOS s--t show will get hit as they continue to get rid of Americans and hire more from India.
Few people are still planning on staying with US Bank until retirement
Be honest, how many of those who visit this forum regularly plan to still be here a year or a maximum of two from now? I'll admit right now that I don't. Too many changes, too many shortcuts taken that end up being detrimental to employees, too much... — read more
