Terrible culture

Culture is only words they put on walls and emails. Not a lived culture. Layoffs here are a real thing and constant. Senior leadership believes it’s something that has to be done all the time. Forget early out options, or early retirements it’s... — read more

2024-2026 expectations

We will see additional layoffs starting in late July and continuing monthly/quarterly until 2026. Expect 2025 layoffs to be even worse then 2024 due the Medicare, Pharma and Change costs. Financially our company is in a really bad spot. If you are... — read more

“Sir” Andrew “T”witty

He is a disgrace to leadership. How he obtained the title of “Sir” is suspect. He and others of his ilk have destroyed the confidence in healthcare. Why he still receiving $21 million in salary plus perks is absolutely ludicrous.

UHG has turned into a joke

As one layoff round is done, the next one is in the planning. There is never a break or reprieve. Working under these conditions has become unbearable. I've come to hate my job.

Job security Navihealth

Does anyone know if any of the SICC or CTM jobs are being be cut? I wonder if I should wait it out or start looking elsewhere?

Recent Layoffs

Was it only OptumHealth with the recent round of layoffs? Or broader within Optum? Anyone hear of anything within Optum Insight or Tech? Or UHC?
