Ok, so I currently work for housecalls, right? And for the past few weeks, we have been sent home early, and been low on records. I was wondering if this is a sign of an impending layoff for us as well?

They are moving practically all of UHC Payment Integrity over to Optum. The is big change consolidating UHC PI, Optum PI and Equian PI, whom Optum just acquired.

Just an FYI, you will not get your severance payment until 3-4 payroll cycles...... Is this true???

Looks like optum has started its own academy for RNs to do clinical services. They will get the nurses assistance , trained and pass the Nclex. Wow. Talk about greed. All while spewing the same old rhetoric.
