Has anyone heard if it's true that we are changing the name from United Health Care to Health Care United?

Layoffs will never stop

Please, folks. Please, for your own sake, learn to accept that. We're well past the point where job security was something you could realistically expect here. Layoffs have become a toll to fix the numbers short-term and will be used as such moving... — read more

It's laughable how predictable this place is

Market salaries go up, UHG pretends not to notice. But let one competitor downsize, and suddenly it's "strategic restructuring." The hypocrisy would be impressive if it wasn't so demoralizing.

A new/old CEO won’t make a difference for us

UHG will remain chaotic, toxic, and exploitative toward both employees and clients. We can expect continued cuts and layoffs, along with the usual not-so-subtle tactics to encourage attrition. If anything, a leadership change may trigger major... — read more

Why are people seemingly happy about Witty leaving?

Doesn’t a new CEO increase the likelihood of layoffs? I didn’t have a strong opinion on Witty either way, but shouldn’t this be a “devil you know” situation? For those who dislike Witty, what are your reasons?

New CEO

And just like that, Witty is no longer CEO and Hemsley is back as CEO. Hmmm 🤔

The Laid Off are Coming Back

Wonder why they laid people off only to bring them back the following week... I mean it's good but odd they could have placed them in other positions prior to laying them off.
