LPL's recruiter told me in March that there was a hold on hiring till end of May. This is now June. All of my applications are getting rejected without a phone call.

For Fort Mill, SC, location look at Associate Staffing site. There are contract positions and some may lead to full time jobs with LPL.

@4vg made it 7 months...not surprised and the LI post reads very much like it was not his choice.
Also just saw on LinkedIn...some EVP they hired for Corp Strategy didn't even make it a year and saw his parting message on LinkedIn...so wonder if he left on his own, forced out, etc. Just a horrible pattern there...be wary of taking a job there...
Why would they be hiring? they acquired like 4 companies in the past few years so they are only going for layoffs for the foreseeable future
@OP short answer is no. Also this is not a place you want to work at especially with the tech epmo. Cory Triolo is a disaster who has no idea what he’s doing.
