In reading all of the forum posts on Centene lay-offs, the one common denominator is how the lack of information, misinformation and blatant lies has systematically destroyed the morale of almost every employee who has/or currently worked there! The level of stress the employees have had to endure seems unnecessary and borderline cruel. So much for a CEO that preaches transparency and doing the right thing.

@OP You are so right about the stress. I am so stressed out. My stomach is in knots.
The employees who voted red should be the ones who have to go. Layoffs are only happening because of trump cuts and the BBB.

@OP it was a very cruel and left a bad taste in my mouth. Even if I don’t get laid off I’m looking elsewhere for work. I’m not even proud to work here anymore. Trash leadership anyway.

Agree - have talked to 4-5 seriously top talent folks. People that go beyond their own roles to get things accomplished. All say they lost their motivation.
@a3 many of us have had to go through this in our careers. I’ve personally been laid off or let go a half dozen times always to return to a better situation. I took the VSP at Centene and am calling it a career as I’m retiring after my last day here in a few weeks. Godspeed.

@OP so true, I've had to start seeing a mental health provider over all of this! I'm a single parent and I need this job and insurance! I've been in my position for over 10 years and have always had exceptional reviews. Now I have a meeting scheduled this afternoon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
