Does anyone know why this email came out yesterday moving GRE to the engineering group?

GRE - Global Real Estate
Rebadging- employees transferred to another company (they have a new employer on their badge/ID). Usually means less money and benefits for the employee. If they are terminated, different severance plan (if any). The new company is supposedly more efficient/cheaper than keeping employees on Verizon payroll. Limited operational benefits.
@OP what is GRE and what Engineering Team....there are tons of engineering groups in vz
GRE Still bloated. Too many managers in the field in Ops. They can outsource it all and have the outsource Directors report to GRE Directors. They have been protected too long
