@b4 Yeah, as an engineer who worked for Humana but then was pushed, I say if you can push out all of the Humana executives and all the Humana leaders on any level, I highly suggest you seek that has a high priority mission.

@ac Thank you!

For everyone sh-----g on this, we hired from within healthcare. All of Brian's friends from Humana received cushy seats and it did nothing. Then there was Wendy.

This can't possibly be worse than what we've witness on the BTS side over the past 18-24 months.

Yeah, for real, as much disruption as there has been with executives lately, this ain’t one of them. This was a planned exit by Brian that the company has had the better part of a year to plan for. If people don’t work in BTS I don’t expect them to know what’s going on and just see the email and think “omg what happened” and they probably ignored the previous ones about Brian earlier this year.

The interesting thing here though is this is another major executive position they are filling with someone from outside the healthcare industry to which I say GOOD. No idea if he will su-k or not but at least he won’t be just a crony of someone from their previous company, which would be guaranteed to su-k ba--s.

Yeah sorry OP you’re wrong. It was LeClaire announced his retirement earlier this year and would be gone by the end of 2026, nothing in this email today about him is new. There was an Org Update around Memorial Day where it was announced he was stepping away from CIO duties to focus his remaining time on supporting SL. That was when the interim CIO position with AK and AG was announced.

@a3 I don’t make the news, I just report it - that was straight from Sarah’s email this morning.

C-suite executives are dropping like flies. Not sure what it is about corporate work that makes it impossible for high level executives to stick it out for more than 2 years at a time. Their pay keeps getting higher but the time they spend at the company grows shorter. This level of turnover is disruptive. Each new leader comes in, is unable to fully understand the work (or unwilling to spend the necessary time and effort to learn it), then leaves after they complete a few years. Sometimes they make huge changes that were not even needed, just to show that they did something.

“CIO out by end of 2026” is misleading and, not to be rude, kind of suggests you don’t know what’s actually going on.

Brian is already functionally out of the role, he announced he was retiring months ago and would be stepping away from his duties. Which is why the email thanked Ajoy for handling the interim role. Ajoy and Aaron G served as tandem interim CIO while the company searched for a new CIO (until Aaron got fired lol).

This announcement is just about Bolivar, the part about Brian is nothing new, that happened a while ago.
