Corporate Settlement: The company entered a Deferred Prosecution Agreement in 2009, paying $80 million in restitution and forfeitures, followed by a $137.5 million False Claims Act settlement in 2012.
Executive Convictions Todd S. Farha: The former CEO was convicted of health care fraud and sentenced to 36 months in prison.
Other Executives: Former CFO Paul Behrens, former VP William Kale, former VP Peter Clay, and former General Counsel Thaddeus Bereday were also convicted or pleaded guilty to criminal charges and false statements.

Betty started “Family Hospital physician Associates”. After passing it was sold to investors the name changed to Centene and the CEO was M.N.
I agree. C-Suite for Centene, Humana, Elevance, Cigna, United, Optum should all be put in jail. They entire business model is to profit by means of making people sicker and dying. There main mission from the government was for them to stop fraud, waste, and abuse. NOT to delay and deny paying out on legitimate catastrophic legitimate health claims for the elderly, disabled, and indigent.
