@OP I know this is an asinine question but "2 x Number of Years in Service + prorated 401K". 2 what? Weeks, months, knowing FIS....Days?

@b6 I am in the same position. Over 25 years of service but under 50 years old. Would take the option immediately if offered.
It’s more like a Golden Hand Job.
Under 50 but close to 25 yrs service. Give me that offer and I’d sign it immediately. Other companies have done an equation of age + yrs of service…I’m holding out hope for that.

Isn't that the normal severance with an extra 401k kicker? In 2019 when they had some major RIFs they offered 2 years of severance to the "older" workers.
