I get the anger, I've certainly felt it myself, but I don't understand people who want to see Dell crash and burn. What good would that actually do? It would saturate the job market, leave thousands upon thousands of families scrambling, and solve nothing. I want things to improve, not explode. I'm not sure what hoping for destruction is going to achieve for any of us.

I sincerely wish for Dell leadership to get Stage 4 cancer. They deserve it!
I'd wager many don't want to see it fail, they want to see the direction they have taken and the leadership responsible fail.
Whatever any of us hope for doesn’t matter.
My take on Dell, it’s easy to criticize Dell, but at its peak, Dell was a market leader in mostly commoditized computer products. Maybe not the s-xiest thing, but the only profitable company in the volume computer industry isn’t a bad thing to be.
But for years now, they seem to be creating their own downfall and I personally don’t understand why. But my anger is not in how I was treated but in how many people that Dell has hurt - and for no obvious reason. I won’t ever go back to Dell and I don’t wish that they fail, I just wish they would treat people better. I still have. Lot of friends there.

On a serious note, this is a really ridiculous argument. Are you an intern at Dell? Kind of a strawman argument you've presented here. I don't know why you think that argument is going to get people to change their minds.
A call for a downfall of the company really has to do with dissatisfied workers en masse who believe their leadership is laughable and disrespectful. No one actually wants this many employees to suddenly suffer financially.
So give us a different argument.
I would wager that 9 out of 10 that want Dell to fail are on the far left. I hate to say it but it is a typical Democrat reaction. These folks don’t like when companies succeed and believe everything needs to be distributed equally. So they wish failure but don’t see the full picture and what it would do them as well.
Where is this magical "job market" you allude to?
All I see are tech jobs wanting Doctorate degrees who will work for 45K.
Exaggeration of course, but not that much.
Maybe they can go on linkedin and say how grateful they are for being let go? How about saying "Here's to new beginnings"? How about saying "I look forward to my next adventure"?
If you got let go or if your workload has tripled, you aren't in the best of moods.
People are feeling wronged by the company. What else do you want people to do?

Dell will not crash and burn no matter how much people wish it to happen. Like Enron? Like Nortel? I don't think so. Before any of that happens, they'll sell parts of it.
Employees are angry.
Hopefully the pendulum swings back in favor of the employee(ie Tech Wreck, Covid) But for now, you are the mercy of your current employer.
If possible, plan and save.
