Worst place I ever worked. I feel this way because my leaders were morally bankrupt. For the rest of my career I will view them as clowns, very unserious and unskilled people.

Just had my mid year where I was told that I’m exceeding all metrics. Then a week later I was told desktop analytics says I am not active enough. Just lay me off instead of playing this game of trying to tear down my contributions.

Everytime we would get a new person in the office, for the decade plus I was there, I check their Brokercheck on Finra's website and about 30-40% of everyone was a returning employee. Some as little as a year after displacement and one I saw that was the longest worked at Wachovia Securities in the 90s and was noe back as a PCG employee. PCG and WBS are like the Walmart/Target of the brokerage industry, rehiring runs in the cultures.
Id rather be homeless than work there again. Terrible leadership. Bad work culture. Everyone working in siloes. Several teams working on the same project, then they slash the teams because they overhired. Inflated titles. Developers competing for work. Use AI for development work but then get flagged because mock data is getting flagged as real customer data. WIMT should be axed.
Mine is much better since I was displaced in April and have received my PTO payout and severance lump sum.
Horrible. When you see employees that work their butt off and get laid off over employees that cant even work their 3 days at the office much less do their work properly in general you will learn quickly these layoffs are popularity contests and these "metrics" you are told about in your layoff meetings arent disclosed , nor shown to you are just all made up. As a result, everyone knows anyone can be next. In my office Im see lots of ADA employees making up the bulk of layoffs. I'll zip it there.
