Can somebody please say what the severance package was like for the latest layoff? Just to see if there were any changes since the last round.

@rr cutting VP and SVPs. Thats how they are targeting,
@gc noticed they seems to be long time FactSetters and VP and above roles, from observations a few coming from CTS products.
God bless everyone
@mf a wrong ‘un product HRBP hard at work. She is all smiles to your face but knives in your back. Talks to everyone first and cut them next. Well done strategy for promotion
@gd still on going? How big a round?
@gc heard the same. Laying off in Americas
Did they get the notice today? Which product(s) were affected?
@fs they are letting people go in products. Heard bunch got let go
Is there a cap to the # of weeks/yrs of service?
I negotiated 3-months "stipend" for healthcare... essentially they paid for 3 months of my now-elevated premium. Years of service was not negotiable though.
@bk I wasn't aware you could do that. Lesson learned...
@bh only healthcare
@aw, can you actually negotiate on severance...? did you negotiate on the severance payment part or the healthcare coverage?
depending on level 2-3 weeks per year, unused vacation time, end of year bonus, a few weeks on payroll, about a month of health insurance then Cobra coverage.
@aw depending on the level, from 1 to 3 weeks per year of service.
Op, what is your severance? I can then write mine and what I negotiated
Assume 1-3 weeks of pay per year served and no continuation of benefits.
No. You are on a need-to-know basis and you don't need to know.
