Obviously wait until your severance is a month or so from being done since the hiring process is about 4-5 weeks from first interview to job offer on average. Some licensed positions are quicker since not everyone can apply vs anyone off the street like a teller.

I quit the bank recently - yes quit - promotion was being denied - all marketeers and glib talkers - in technology. Just the toxicity and the duplicity made me sad.
I am doing way better now - away from di***ds and fakers
If your experience was like mine - please do yourself a favor and not go back. I have heard first hand it has only gotten worse.
Just be done with WF. They laid you off for a reason (like they did us all). If you get hired back, I hope they don’t give you a low rating just to fire you then you don’t get severance or your 60-day most likely. With as shady as the company has been I made peace with my layoff and looking elsewhere so they don’t really burn me!
If hired within 60 days wouldn’t they stop severance? Also let’s say you took lump sum amount, and get rehired in 90 days, what happens then, do they ask you to return the severance amount, I don’t think so but who knows.
I started applying immediately after getting laid off. I was back exactly on the 60th day. I would begin soon since on the first 2 months you have access to internal positions
@aj agreed, it's like trying to time the market. It never works better in the long term.
Don’t try to game it. Get hired as soon as you can. You can always push start date out. But you don’t want to lose seniority in the form of PTO
