How long does it take to get severance payment once papers are signed?

@a8 that's the dream. Get a severance right as you are ready to retire is a bonus. Envious of you. Enjoy your time.
In the USA it's generally within 2-3 weeks of when you return the signed doc to Dell. It's aligned with the regular US pay cycle.

@OP have you been let go? Any info you can give on payment and location without doxing yourself?
I got mine on payday of the month I left. I also got some commission for the other two months of the quarter which was a nice surprise. So glad to be be out of there and at 61, not needing to look for another role.
Depends on local laws and regulations. I'd assume that for most it means at the very latest whenever the next salary was supposed to be payed out.
How many were WFRed this time?
You should get it in 24 to 72 hours after signing. Nit including weekends.
