Let's say I join another LOB. I want to make sure I get the 2022 bonus locked in before doing so. Is there such a lock-in date?

End of year bonus question

Manager I have is a gaslighter, so in order to breathe, I am taking a leave until beginning of January. I am not faultless in this situation but wow, this boss is over the top. I most likely will come back from leave then give my notice and leave... — read more

Exceeds expectations is a joke

How do you rate someone on exceeds expectations consistently? What if the expectation is that you exceed customer expectations? How do you exceed exceeding? Or is it like a double negative where it means you never meet expectations? Lol

How are Contractors treated at Wells Fargo?

What is the SDLC employed at Wells Fargo?

I had this question asked to me at a recent interview. I don't know exactly remember what I said. Probably something about agile/scrum. I do know I flubbed the question. Why? I later contemplated this question. Then it dawn on me that every... — read more

Do managers have power over anything anymore?

Our team used to have pretty strong autonomy which drove thoughtful business decisions around how to serve our clients, with the support of our 2-up and 3-up management. Over the past year this has changed drastically, we are subject to so many... — read more

There had to be a memo

Corporate must have sent some sort of memo out to the team leaders. Before the virus, we had gatherings once every few months. Now it is so often I feel like I am being used for some game called team building. I swear next time it is PTO for me. I... — read more

Support shines no more

Roughly a year ago the person who supports me was laid off. The person who now backs up my work has not been updated, technically, to do my job. Permissions seem to falter. I am concerned that both of us might be on the cutting block. If so dear... — read more

Talk of 9

There are people in my office who have been saying that we will receive close to a nine percent raise if we exceed. Is this insane talk or can someone please verify? This has to do with the current state of the economy, or inflation.

Came into an empty office again

I hear rumors about compliance etc but every time I come in I’m pretty much the only one here vs pre-covid our floor was completely full and people couldn’t even find a flex cube. I just come in once a week and leave around noon just like all the... — read more

Finally heard something from management

My manager finally said something about days in the office. She has been cool and not babysitting us but today she told us it is being closely monitored now by higher ups.

Salary Percentage increase

What was your historical salary increase percentage from promotion? Manager told me about that going to promote me after year end.

I had a dream last night…

Back story: I have worked at Wells Fargo for years and often witness questionable practices and decisions due to cost-cutting, pressure to make profits, competition, system inadequacies, denial, hardheadedness, lack of knowledge, inability, greed... — read more

RTO Apocalypse

The next few months are going to be interesting. Compliance is getting worse, not better, and Chucky is almost certainly going to throw a tantrum over this irrelevant metric. My guess is, in 2023 job abandonment policy will be edited so it can be... — read more

RTO Security issues.

After reading about what that Walmart manager did to his own team members, really concerns me about the lack of security in our own buildings. I won’t go back to the office unless our buildings have airport quality security.

Thankful I don't work at Wells Fargo anymore!

Today, I'm grateful I don't work at Wells anymore. What a toxic work environment, totally sick. I worked my azz off there and was nickeled and dimed for ridiculous daily limits on food per diem that was way out of touch with the cost of travel in... — read more

Thankful

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for this forum for providing a much needed place to vent away from the “water cooler” and for sourcing much more valuable information than I could ever get from my management.

2 calls and 3 texts

I am trying to think of the emergency scenario where I would need to be contacted and respond within about an hour. There is nothing I do in my job where that would be necessary.

BCP TEST?

Why now and not during work hours? I’m always worried we are going to get hacked and I may answer the BCP text and now my bank accounts are empty. LOL. I wish they’d give us a warning.
