It seems unusual to have pay posted a day before actual payday.....anyone else wondering what's up?

The new salary range for a job on the bottom of workday posts - is total compensation considered in that range (like stocks and bonus)? Or is it base only???

RTO when they don't want more attrition

I'm hearing rumors of increased RTO crackdown but I also know that at least certain areas of the bank have lost enough or more people than they wanted to already. Mandating more RTO would bring those numbers even further down. Seems they're already... — read more

WF Internal Interview Tips

Shamelessly self-aggrandize any and all non-verifiable experiences. For example, if you don't know Java, don't say you know Java, because that's easily verifiable. But loose, squishy things like implementing business processes is easily... — read more

Dear WF

It’s not considered collaboration if you’re all sitting quietly next to each other not speaking. This is so lame and useless.

Target bonus for sr lead analytics consultant position?

I recently got a job offer and HR has been super wishy washy and unresponsive regarding compensation negotiation. I feel that they’re trying to lowball me and won’t give me an answer regarding bonus. I get that it’s performance based and varies but... — read more

Oct 10th is not a day off for everyone

Executives just below Charles in Charge will be in a zoomer to reaffirm who sends what to whom regarding the layoff notices coming down this week. But, yes, other than those half dozen, everyone is off on Oct 10th. Enjoy the day off, but it may be... — read more

Is it possible to get more than your target bonus? Do you think this year’s bonuses will even hit the targets?

Drawing the line on being a team player.

There was a time when I was the only male on the team. I had no issues with my other teammates as they were fantastic individuals. We collaborated and accomplished quite a bit. The only time I did not collaborate is when they all flew into town, then... — read more

CONFIRMED: Base Raise 5% This Year

Heard this through the grapevine today that the typical raise across the company will be 5% this year (historically 2%). HR will hate that I revealed this, but it sounds like Bei Ling fought pretty hard for this and won a huge battle for all of us... — read more

Still being lured like fish

It has not stopped and I guess it won't. It is damn near every week now that some "team building" or worst case "volunteer" event arises on our calendar. Why don't they just say they want all of us in the office NOW. We never had so much going on... — read more

More layoffs in Iowa.. where's my post?

I posted earlier that there are another 36 layoffs coming in Iowa with a layoff date of 12-31-22, per Iowa Workforce development. I don't see my post anywhere. With a layoff date of 12/31 and given WF is giving 60 day non-working notices, that would... — read more

Third quarter earnings report is next week

The results will be announced next Friday. I'm sure Charlie will find a way to twist the numbers - whether they turn out to be good or bad - to justify more layoffs as soon as possible. It wouldn't be the first time and it won't be the last time he... — read more

Back office Inefficiencies?

Please comment with your opinions. In WF, I’ve been a part of several teams where I have been required to find my own tools, request my own access, find my own support in order to do my job. In my opinion, I think this is very insane and inefficient... — read more

September Jobless Claims Jump

Things are starting to melt. It'll be an ugly Q4, probably even worse Q1. Things will not start to clear before Q3.

Last Week

There were layoffs in Charlotte within Wells Fargo Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) and Wells Fargo Securities (WFS)... I just want to make sure it's documented here.
