On Wednesday, Wells Fargo CEO Charlie Scharf said the bank's embattled mortgage business could have a smaller footprint in the future — and suggested criticism of Wells Fargo's home lending practices are partly to blame. Speaking at Bernstein's... — read more

Wells beter than Office Space

Sure, we have our problems at Wells Fargo, but after watching Office Space for the umpteenth time, at least it's not that bad.

Welp I’m walking away

Long story short. I’m a long time team member. While I’ve been laid off 3xs and retained; always had a positive attitude, I find it’s best to move on. For the second time I have been interviewed and hired by a manager I liked; when I was restructured... — read more

When will this end

So another person is leaving, no, not leaving WF, but going on leave. Surprise, the person who will take the place has an IQ that can belittle only a mo--n. It is bad enough that we have spaces that need to be filled because of attrition. But the... — read more

Does anyone know you are here

Have you ever told anyone from your office that you peruse this site? In other words, do you have the _____s to do that?

Lateral move - raise potential?

Before Workday, there was a policy in TW about salary increases with job changes. I think it said that if you're below the midpoint, you could get a raise. Since there are no official midpoints/MRP anymore, how do lateral moves work, as far as pay... — read more

Are all WFHL groups still working from home?

I am in a specialty group with home lending, and we are all still 100% WFH and plan on being this way indefinitely. Are other home lending groups still 100% WFM? I seem to remember hearing that all (or most) mortgage groups are going to be WFH going... — read more

Has anyone noticed

Headcount after 3 years of Chuck, Scottie, Tanner, Billy-boy and company has not decreased significantly. What has decreased is dollars on salary as they run off tenured staff and off shore or hire young and d-mb.

I work in a midwest office. We use Uni__d W_y as our Charity. Just curious if that is company wide?

Constructive Dismissal

Do we anticipate a class action or regulatory inquiry into potential Constructive Dismissal from exit interviews?

Covid coursing through the veins at WFA since RTO.

It is probably safe to assume it’s happening in other cities/hubs. I know, personally, of at least 10 people on our floor of 150 who are out with it as we speak. There are a lot of other employees, whom I don’t know personally, who are suddenly... — read more

Dress code?

Is everyone adhering to the dress code now that we are back in office? If so, why? I see a lot of people dressing to the 9s just to have conference calls then look at me weird for showing up in sweat pants and a shirt

Is it wise to apply for bank jobs at all?

I am one of the people that got let go from WF last month. I still haven’t found a job but I updated my CV and have been job hunting since then. I even landed two interviews. Anyway, the question that bugs me these days is whether it is a wise... — read more

401k match only at year end

So if you quit in the middle of the year, you do not get any 401k match for the months you worked. Is that correct?

Holidays - office or WFH day

Does anyone know if holidays count as an in office day or WFH day? I asked several managers and they said play it safe and come in 3 days. Same thing for PTO come in 3 days if you take 3 days off come in two days.

I'll be gone by the end of next month

I was never too happy here but WFH made everything more bearable. I wouldn't even mind RTO as much if I didn't have to deal with my as----e manager face to face again. I've been looking for remote jobs but I guess I'm a bit late to the party, since... — read more

Wonder why they're being so generous??

Train 8,000 women in other countries to code. Sounds super selfless on the surface. However, totally self-serving because it's a guarantee WF will benefit more than it costs them because they will hire them all and still save money even after... — read more
