I’ve been hearing rumors about potential layoffs in EAcX and MACx sometime in August. Has anyone heard any credible updates or know if there’s any truth to it? Also, are people hearing about a specific percentage of employees that could be impacted, or is it all speculation at this point?

@2r4 I would watch the recording. He was just all over the place about the economy and needing more ambitious growth.

That was the weirdest MACX meeting I've ever been a part of today. ML was definitely soft launching upcoming changes.
Any chance AB and/or ML will be the ones to get laid off? That’s one layoff I could actually support.
@23 That’s probably true. Andy’s team actually liked/respected him. I can’t think of a single time I’ve heard anyone say something positive about AB outside of the required sycophantic behavior in his town hall meetings.

@b1 I know you're getting downvoted but it's not a stretch. With USB India hiring for analytics and AB having zero loyalty to his people, he will replace with India in a heartbeat if it makes him look good (ie cost savings). Look what he did to Andy.

All of Digital Product, AI and Innovation are going to India. India has some of the best frontier models.

USB in India is happening with analytics being one of the first to be hired. AB being the absolute pathetic wannabe hero is going for hundreds of these positions to save costs to prove his worth. Get out while you can

There have been small, but continuous rolling layoffs in EACX the entire time that nightmare they like to pretend has any leadership skills has been here. I’d be more shocked if there weren’t more layoffs than if there were. AB just keeps flailing and doing layoffs/reorgs to make up for his absolute ineptitude.

Haven’t heard anything specific, but ML seems to just want to free up money for his garbage ads while AB is a pretty terrible excuse for a “leader” who has had a bunch of layoffs during his short tenure at the bank. All that to say, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were more layoffs coming for EACX, and potentially MACX more broadly.
Not OP but a quick Google search told me that EAcX is Enhanced Account Experience and MAcX was their mobile app version of the same.
