This thread: "How do you know a person has been RIF'd?"
https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1kzqemg19
has some helpful tips on how to find out if a person is still with the company or not.

It might not answer all of your questions, but can aid in filling in some of the blank spaces for you in the meantime, before you get all of the answers you're hoping to find.

"Go to your state town hall group chat in Teams and go through the list of people. If their bubble is completely empty (not a gray x or anything) then they are no longer with the company. If they have been gone from the company for a decent amount of time it will say unknown user. In my state it appears various analysts, managers in care management, care managers, care navigators and engagement specialists have been let go so far."

"If they are no longer with the company, you will also see "Status Unknown" when you hover over their name on Teams."

"Another tell is that when you click in Teams to look at their org chart, it’s gone. Someone who was RIFed earlier had their org chart disappear in Teams within 15 minutes of being notified."

"You can also go to Workday and search People. Place the employees name in the field box. If the employee is on leave, terminated, etc, it will reflect on that website as well."

You're putting way too much emotion into what you read on a gossip forum. You're not going to get the full story on here no matter how many !!!!! you use.

You get your severance or VSP with caveats of an NDA. Why would you risk that to appease others' fears. No departments, divisions, LOBs - that is shareable

@a6 it comes in a email/letter a few days later. At least that has been these previous RIFs.

@ad I’m on here seeing updates on VSP and lay offs. I’m not commenting on everyone’s post going what market, what market, what is your severance, what is your last day, etc etc. It’s cold to expect these people to give you all this information when their lives just turned upside down. People will post when ready. Also you and others will find out soon. I already had my meeting this morning.

Are there a bunch of old a-s HR heads in here responding to posts? It securely sounds very supervisorish round here.

@a8 wow you can't be that dense. Everyone single person here is worried and looking for the exact same answers. Everyone is impacted by this right now. Just because they haven't gotten an email today doesn't mean they won't tomorrow. Only a fool doesn't ask questions.. And in what world has Centene ever been transparent and offered any real answers in theses massive layoffs? This forum is the most up to date on this information. The OP is in the perfect spot asking good questions. and really? "Karen" ? Are you 15?

Calm down, Karen.

Screeching at people with !!extra! exclamation marks!! is not the way to get your way, either.

People are going through a rough time here, and are well within their right to choose however however much or little of their identifying specifics to share on this board.

The world doesn't revolve around you, your worries, or your preferences.

You will get information as it's disclosed to you, or based on what you're able to research on your own. What have you done proactively and independently to find answers to your questions, other than shriek repeated demands here like a harpy, pecking at others' eyeballs for answers, when they're already in shock and pain?

It’s none of your business. People will share what they want. They are going through a horrible news right now. You don’t need to know about their severance or their market. If you’re getting laid off you will know soon enough. Stop being selfish.

@a2 MYOB?!? people are on here for help and answers! It’s a layoff board people don’t have to make a comment at all but to make a vague isn’t necessary either

I believe a little more information would be appreciated more than just being vague. People on here are looking for answers and any kind of support they can get instead of got RIFd or being vague. If people are on here posting the very least they can do is share a little insight of what they know so we can all help each other

@a2 and trying to prevent thousands more from experiencing the same level of shock because this company su-ks at transparency by shedding a sliver of light on the situation won't hurt anyone. Calm down. I can see up your nose on that high horse of yours..

@OP It’s an emotional day for coworkers. Have some class and empathy and MYOB. My thoughts are with those getting news. May this be the beginning of better things for you. You owe nobody any details.
