WTF Is Going On in Payment Integrity?!

Has anyone heard anything about possible job-title changes within Payment Integrity? I’ve heard there may be an effort to consolidate or standardize multiple roles under fewer job titles, which could potentially result in compensation adjustments, some employees may receive increases, while others could see reductions.
There also appear to be employees who accepted the VSP but are now choosing to leave before their assigned separation dates, even though leaving early may mean giving up their VSP payout. That raises additional concerns about morale and what may be happening behind the scenes.
Has anyone received more concrete information about the title changes, which positions may be affected, the anticipated timeline, or how current employees pay would be handled?

What is happening with all of the new payment integrity people that haven’t been hired recently?

@OP word says, any/all of the positions are being reviewed, mid Sept is the possible date when we would know more, whatever that means to any of us “knowing” anything anymore, and it’s being vetted through HR so likely legit.

@a7 unfortunately many of those are staying probably have to. If you have a family or obligations that make it dicey to just leave for any old job you can grab or impossible leave without anything lined up immediately after, you are stuck. I have nothing but empathy for people who are staying or going. This is an absolute nightmare and whatever any of us can do to cope, we have to do. Knowing full well that we are sc--wed.

I went through this with another company. They consolidated roles & flattened departments. Job duties and titles were changed, as was compensation. They're required to provide a written notice if they lower your salary & you can choose to stay or go. Unions get a bad shake, but they come in handy when things like this happen.

Everything's in flux.

You're not going to get answers to those specific questions now, no matter how many times you ask, and in however many different ways.

You just need to accept that it's a very unstable environment where there's no job security, and plan accordingly. For most people with common sense, that means finding employment elsewhere, VSP/severance or no VSP/severance.

Be patient if you plan on staying, because the dust hasn't settled enough yet to give you a clearer picture. Whether you want to or not, if your decision is to stay there for work, then you have to WAIT until things get settled more, for you to get any answers. The question is: WHY would you want to keep working somewhere, where they j3rk you around so much, when it comes to the money you make, to live? Wouldn't it behoove you to take charge of your own destiny, by looking elsewhere for a more stable work environment?

Demanding fairness and transparency from people who have already demonstrated that they: don't appreciate your efforts, don't respect you, take advantage of you, lie to you, gaslight you, and expect you to just shut up and take it...is doing a disservice to yourself.

Face facts: any way you slice it, if you stay where you are now, you're scr3wed.
What difference does it make if MAYBE they might consolidate so you get paid a pittance more, if they've always got layoffs and gaslighting hanging over your head indefinitely? You really want to keep working in that type of insane environment? Wow.
