St. Louis County voters overwhelmingly rejected Proposition U, a local use tax on out-of-state online purchases. This proposition was estimated to generate $100 million annually for the county. The defeat leaves the next county executive with the challenge of balancing the budget without this revenue. County Executive Sam Page warned that without new revenue, police officers may face layoffs. Page has proposed raising property taxes or re-introducing an online sales tax in November.

My husband is a commercial broker and said that he was told that Chevron is shopping their downtown properties. First of all, I did not know we owned the properties and second, if we own, why would we sell now with commercial property so cheap?

How much did it close for and did the property pass the termite and cockroach independent property inspection ?
