What is oracle tv trying to achieve?

After years and years of working here, I got RIFed...."not performance related"...anyone negotiated a better severance package then what they give out?

Since the beginning of the year the inflow of SRs have slowed down drastically. This makes me nervous about possible RIFs in the near future. Has anyone else noticed the same thing ?

Got word that if you are within an hour from an office, you will be required to go into the office 3x a days. They want to get rid of 3% percent of the workforce by doing this.

I've heard certain people in the CEGBU got cut in the last few weeks, Retail GBU and others cut ISR teams and marketing. CX cut a bunch last year and DB OnPrem are dropping people like they're hot. Any updates on any other divisions?

It is often said that managers normally do not have much influence over who will be selected when RIFs happen, but I find it hard to believe that.
