I am not sure what this generation expected raising a family would be like or holding a full time job requires. Men went to war and women went to the factories in the second world war to make America trillions. How were their kids raised?
I am unable to do my best work at Fidelity due to all the silos and gatekeeping and now no one is available to execute installs that are only possible post market hours. If you can't hold a full time job and raise a family, quit one of the two. The whole country/ economy has been structured around automobile sales and consumerism. Where do you think the salaries of their janitorial and catering staff comes from? Have some empathy, you have already subscribed to the idea of capitalism, corporate America and overworked exceptionalism. What time off?
