July layoffs

I've heard some rumors about potential layoffs this month, I'm hoping somebody here could shine some light on it (or preferably tell me it's not true).

Global Bench?

Former IBMer here. I left IBM 5 years ago in the area that is now Kyndryl. My husband has stayed and he is in delivery. He was just notified that he has been moved to the Global Bench. In the letter he received with instructions it has a process... — read more

Are we finally done with stealth layoffs?

I'm not exactly sure what else to call them, but they've been happening for months on a small scale. A few people here and there, but consistently. It's finally been over a month since I've heard about any new people being let go, so I'm hoping we... — read more

Signings increase in earnings reports

Almost every post here mention no, or very limited new signings. Yet, latest earnings report(s) show constant YtY increase in signings. What’s the catch? Is there really increase in new business, or is it just smoke and mirrors?

Global RA Tsunami to be unleashed in April

Shortly after the disastrous q4 and full year figures are published, an unprecedented global resource action will be unleashed in Kyndryl globally - especially Northern Europe, ANZ and North America employees will be decimated- no BU is... — read more

Hiring Consult Partners?

I keep getting contacted by recruiters for "consult partner" roles. What exactly is that role? Sounds like it's both sales and delivery. Is it advisable to consider and join Kyndryl now?

More U.S. Actions

We hear there are more layoffs in progress. One-on-ones scheduled.

Stock price drastically up

What is the reason of Kyndryl's sudden stock price surge? Within this month it went up to over 34$ from barely 22$

Kyndryl Cooking the Books

Looking at Kyndryl's lack of new business and the fact that they are losing existing business at an alarming rate, I would not be surprised if Kyndryl is doing a Enron style of creative accounting. Martin and Elly clearly show they lack the knowledge... — read more

I guess someone wanted answers

Happy someone else is as outraged by the blatant disregard for employees in the face of Kyndryls core values. Thanks @OpheliaLavande on Twitter

saving face without a mask

So today's the last day for many experienced professionals in S&R practice. All because of a lack of appreciation on TS's part. Good luck to those departing (not on their terms sadly).

A clone of Ginny's IBM

I had high hopes that the spinoff from IBM would include a business culture departure from Ginny's disastrous IBM strategy to save the company to prosperity. Her misguided approach produced $30B in annual revenue loss, including 27 out of 28 quarters... — read more

MASSIVE Layoffs in US

Hearing from former colleagues of massive layoffs in the US today with Consult Partners and CTAs being affected the most

Delivery organisation

Another useless org change, all teams will now be under Mary Miller’s delivery organisation. More layer between the account leadership, POD, delivery. Adults in Kyndryl need to focus on winning large deals instead of pencil pushing.

US Reorg

With no large signings in last 3 years, US has been scrambling woth re-orgs, which wont make a difference. Yesterday’s all hands call was a disaster. Amy knows that she may not last long. All non-incentive DPE’s to be under Mary Miller: what will... — read more

Any layoffs since Tuesday?

Do we know anything about the rest of the week? Or is it going to be anytime, anywhere for a foreseeable future? None of us really need this amount of additional stress. It would be better to have more information and know what to expect.

Rolling layoffs flush morale down the toilet

It’s creepy, in a way. Coming to work every day, not knowing if that’s the day. Things happening around you, but nobody’s saying what’s going on. Media report possible hundreds already laid off or in the process. Thousands potentially in total. We... — read more

September cuts

Will anybody be losing his or her job this month? Should we worry or not?

Martin's Transport

FYI, Martin Schroeter (according to the executive compensation documents) is the only executive in Kyndryl who can use company jets and cars for personal reasons. If he wants to go to the Bahamas for a weekend, he can do it and Kyndryl has to eat the... — read more

Deception x5

1st deception: After accepting a job offer from IBM in 2019, I was informed one week before my start date that I was actually “LTS” (long term supplemental) status (i.e a 3 year contractor) and not FTE status (which was negotiated during the hiring... — read more

No big signings. Should Martin and Elly be fired?

No big signings in years. Still a lot of fat in senior management, and bean counters focusing on eliminating standby allowances. 1000s of alliances with nothing to show for. Should Martin and Elly be fired and replaced? I hear a few major clients... — read more
