This is a rumor so take it with a grain of salt

Intel is using Trump to collect 5B from every company. If the company does not give 5B, Intel will report to Trump to collect 100% tariffs on them. What a shame !

The Appalachian area isn't going to the common operating model like the rest of operations. We were told today, we are never changing. The current model saved jobs is what the rumor is.

Has anyone else heard this outside of Appalachian?

Let's be honest... Intel may be asking, but Trump is standing close behind Intel with a giant club called tariffs and access make Nvidia, Apple, and Avago processors.

Once TSMC makes an investment into IFS, and takes over it's leadership... IFS will actually have a chance to succeed. LBT has essentially cleaned out most of the first two levels of Intel's old leadership... which is a start. Now, the next phase is brining in the right talent to run the company.

All the information im seeing is everywhere but where i work, does ANYBODY know what Duncan manufacturing is projected to lose in November? Have to plan accordingly for the kids Christmas this year!

There is a big one coming up.. not sure if it gonna be this month or next.. But a huge one.. we have given a lot of names .. like bottom 40% folks for sure.. After being in many meetings, I think my own position is at risk.. So fingers crossed 🤞

Any news on departures from the Leadership Forum; has anything been announced?

We received an email today from our group leader to say that he ‘strongly’ advises us to attend the CES town hall next week. First time we’ve ever had an email like this so we immediately started getting our conspiracy thinking hats on to try and come up with an idea of what’s happening.
Maybe it’ll be more of the same or maybe a big announcement, who knows.
Anyone got any clues as to what it is?

Let’s say that you are a Phase 2 employee who gets blindsided jn November and laid off. Do you get severence as well? Or just nothing, but the ability to collect unemployment.

Seems kind of unfair to not allow an early option to quit and take the severence pay because you are remote. You would hope they would not lay off any remote workers in November but from what I understand everyone in the entire company is vulnerable on November 11.

I’ve heard that an acquisition may be back or at least for part of DXC. The reporting date of October 28 has been mentioned around the halls as a big announcement day so either mass workforce reductions, yet another restructure or acquisition - there is definitely something brewing - it’s all too quiet!

Apparently the local CEP-anointed “leaders” in AK left the frontline O&M layoff list unprotected on a shared drive, and someone got a photo - now HR and IT are scrambling to round up anyone who saw it?

One of the EVP is very close to me and mentioned that they plan to move the entire BDR functionality to India. There are over 200 BDRs in the states and Canada. Wonder what will happen to them.
