I'm eng4 level management, what does the severance package look like? I'll be exiting in 8 months at any rate, but I cannot find any detail on Comcast severance. Yes, I will be leaving voluntarily, but I would prefer a layoff.

Just waiting is pure torture. I'm almost ready to volunteer, just to get it over with.

I’m really hoping they give us a chance to leave voluntarily because I would take it immediately. Things have been so tense and uncertain, it feels like the best move to step away before the stress really hits hard. Having a way out would be a huge relief and give me a chance to reset and find something better.

What is the over/under for % of folks who EOI'd? Has the TLO sphere experienced a lot or a little murmurs of folks EOI'ing?

Also heard multiple people voluntarily quit due to the RIFs. Is this true?

Phase 1 - Jan 5 for people assigned to LA and NYC offices

Phase 2 - TBA in 2026 for all other employees

All exit conversations have happened.

Many people have an option to exit or get demoted, and those people were given 48 hours to choose. Thus more exits may happen, but initiated by conversations that happened on Tuesday.

I've been trying to leave anyhow. Getting paid to do it would be as good as it gets.

If this is just an HR plan update, why couldn't they just update the HR manual quietly and not send out a freaking email to give everyone anxiety?

DONT DO IT. They dont want to pay out severance and are going to do things to break morale to get "voluntary attrition". Dont give them the satisfaction. Start building your network now to prepare for when the inevitable comes, and have a game plan for when it does.

Just announced and Sept 15 is the impacted area notification date

Looks like they over hired during covid now tossing people out so the option to move to another area or take voluntary severance

Reduction IS coming for external associates

If the severance is 2 months + 4 weeks for every year of work, there may be people who want to get lay-ed off but are not getting lay-ed off.
Did HR give an option to any employee at AMD to leave voluntarily with a package?

I am hoping for another layoff so I can get the he'll out of this place. Who else is hoping that?

T-Mobile is not the same company it once was and I'd be happy to be shown the door as long as they paid me in the process.

Has it always been this bad? Internal processes that are archaic. No defined method of project management disorganized chaos and slide decks Webex, Slack now Teams just choose one for sake of my sanity!! Jira ticket after jira ticket and throwing over the wall mentality.

I applied for a job that they are filling due to 3 people taking VRP. Is this a good move? I thought they wanted to cut the workforce, not replace them.

Anyone else filling like they should have taken the package. On the verge of just putting my two weeks in. Management sc--wed up big time on this reorg and no transition made the stand up of the new org a damn mess. End of the day leadership will not take accountability but will continue to get fat bonuses. Almost so horrible all you can do is laugh at this point.

I'd quit, but jobs are hard to come by and my savings are not that great. Getting a package would solve that issue for me.
