Flattening and Reorgs

Anticipating after these large numbers of people are off books (or before) , there will be a lot of shuffling of teams. Anyone know what happens when a Director or AD ends up without enough direct reports? Maybe there will still be enough employees left to re-allocate, but math-wise seems like there might be a lot of esp AD’s without the minimum number of people.
Wonder if the July target notifications will be like musical chairs for those without enough people left.

What’s next for EMEA then?

I’ve seen quite a few people leaving from the UK offices across different departments — some went mid-May, others are due to ship out end of May. It was a mix of VBGs and the rest, probably around the 100 mark all in.
Heard the RIFs are pretty much done in the smaller spots like Spain. Italy got notified as well but they’ve got that 75 day consultation period to go through. Not sure what’s happening with France and Belgium, they’re pretty small outfits anyway.
Germany’s probably next in line for another 100 heads, seeing as they’ve got nearly 300 over there. There was some chat about selling off Professional Services and Security to a partner, but I’ve got no proper intel on that.
Anyone know any more?

Layoffs

I am perplexed at the people who are touting that there is going to be a layoff on May 28 and it’s going to be massive. You all really need to stop. There’s always layoffs in departments that are under performing or where there is duplicative work being done, but there has not been a notification to leadership that there is going to be mass layoffs on May 28 so please stop scaring everyone. In the meantime – all of the miserable people that just left to stir sh-t are going to get this 85 negative marks because you’re so focused on the drama and the negativity that you don’t know what else to do then to check this website daily. Do something better with your life.
