Any updates on contractors working for Edward Jones such as CGI, Accenture and Deloitte ? It already seemed like they wanted to fill as many positions with them as possible instead of full time EJ employees, but with the future offshoring seemingly... — read more
Rewarding the Wrong Things
Employers say they want people with integrity, loyalty, and to become really good at their jobs in order to serve the clients/customers with exemplary service and products. But, they reward people who do whatever it takes to advance. They tell FA's... — read more

What have layoffs improved?
Can somebody name one thing that's better now than it was before layoffs? I'll wait.
Hired Back?
Is anyone hearing of ISPs getting hired back? Or was that just a ruse?
Wheels Up to India
This week a big group heads to India including Penny, a few ELT and OC, Operations, and Digital. 30 GPs and directors will be touring cities in India to make a decision on where the Edward Jones Flag will be placed in India. This is the next round of... — read more
Penny's Missteps
Could Penny have sc--wed this firm up any more if she was trying? I would doubt it. She probably needs to pull a George Costanza and do the opposite of every single instinct she has ever had. If she did that the firm would probably soar. Penny is... — read more
Founder's Day 2025
I know Founder's Day was supposedly put on a hiatus during the pandemic, but leadership said they were going to bring it back or something to replace it once the world opened back up. Once the pandemic was over Penny was the new managing partner. ... — read more
Career Advancement
Who has been advancing Penny over and over again during her career? I mean just look at her name. That is way too much alliteration and redundancy. I could never take her seriously because of her silly name when I first met her as an FA. If she... — read more
No matter how hard you worked, no matter how much you believed in the firm before, you can never feel safe again.
I've been working at Jones for nearly my entire professional career, right out of college, for the past decade. I worked hard to prove myself in the eyes of leadership and my peers. Copious amounts of overtime, volunteering for more work repeatedly... — read more
Inhumanity
It was bad enough we didn't get to say goodbye to those they threw out of the firm as the firm asked us all to stay home to receive calls. We found out if you were laid off you were immediately banned from the building like you were a criminal. ... — read more
BOA.... Series 7
Is it true starting in January and beyond; if a BOA wants to work at a branch the BOA needs the Series 7? If so, is this a way for the firm to cut overhead at the branch level?
Layoffs
On a recent visit to Home office, I noticed an open bar (with paid servers) providing free beer and wine each evening we were there. I’m at a bit of a loss as to how this helps clients and why it is better to have this than the home office... — read more
Who the f*** docks employees a week's pay at Christmas time?
Check your Amplify for this week's Grinching. Who does that? What kind of leadership takes money from people at Christmas? Godda-n.
Managing Partner Missed Opportunity
Edward Jones missed their opportunity to name a managing partner that could have led us into the future without all of the Enterprise Reimagined turmoil. Edward Jones' Canadian president, DG, was the correct choice to lead the firm, not Penny. DG... — read more
Subject: 200+ Monthly Terminations, “Voluntary” Severance, and Potential WARN Act Violations
Over the past several months, it’s clear the company has been consistently laying off employees — roughly the same number each month, almost like clockwork. While leadership has publicly acknowledged these reductions, there are a few things don’t... — read more
Edward Jones Midwestern Values?
Lately I have been seeing ads talking about Edward Jones' midwestern values and St. Louis roots. This may have been true for a century. Since Penny took over as managing partner she has laid off St. Louisans in the home office and sent their... — read more
Enterprise Reimagined First Layoffs in Firm History?
Penny and team are touting Enterprise Reimagined as the first time in firm history EJ has had layoffs. Penny has said August 2025 was the first time there has been layoffs at EJ. I know for a fact that is a bold face lie. As early as 2023 some of... — read more

Hypocrisy At Its Finest

Asset bleed

How the mighty have fallen…
Anyone catch the trimester update yesterday and enjoy watching Penny feigning “empathy” while standing in her $5k custom spray painted EJ blazer? God what a pathetic excuse for an executive. She and the ELT live in a complete bubble! Disgusting.
Still undecided........
I opted out of VSP. I have mixed emotions on staying.... who else is in my shoes?

Use this as your “like” button if you believe that “Enterprise Reimagined” is a sh*t show.
WOW

"roles open the week of September 8th." Really? Nothing today, apparently...not like they didn't have months to figure this out. Perhaps there will be scarce roles and hundreds of demoted and ISP'ed people picking over them.
HBA WARNING

Layoffs are not temporary
I can’t imagine anyone genuinely thinking layoffs at EJ are temporary. The patterns are clear, and it’s only going to get worse unless leadership takes a serious look at long-term planning. Face it folks. Layoffs are here to stay.

Policy on applying for internal open roles

More clarity soon?
I wonder if there will be more clarity soon? Seems like there still needs to be some things figured out with how teams are aligned now.
