Is it worth staying through year end for the bonus this year? I'm seeing mixed views on expected payout vs target. Do you get a payout if you are on payroll as of 12/31, so leaving in January would be OK?

Why so many Directors report to Directors?
I’m talking specifically Individual contributor Directors (no direct reports) reporting to Directors (not MD). Even BS “Director in Project Management”. Explain that one. You someone’s kid? Got dirt on someone? Why pay a bloated salary to a director of no one, instead of a Sr Manager?
How much does each humana executive make annually?
According to Humana's regulatory proxy filings submitted to the SEC, top executive compensation is primarily driven by performance-based stock awards and incentives.
For the most recent fiscal year (2025), here is how much each of Humana's top executives earned in total annual compensation:
2025 Top Executive Compensation
- Celeste M. Mellet (Chief Financial Officer): $18.92 million total compensation. This included a $1.11 million base salary, a $6 million signing bonus, and $10.65 million in equity awards.
- James A. Rechtin (President & Chief Executive Officer): $18.76 million total compensation. This consisted of a $1.35 million base salary, $13.87 million in stock awards, and $3.03 million in cash incentive pay.
- Michelle A. O'Hara (Chief Human Resources Officer): $8.94 million total compensation. This included a $715,385 base salary, a $2.5 million bonus, and $4.86 million in stock awards.
- Susan M. Diamond (Former Chief Financial Officer): $2.4 million total compensation during her remaining transition tenure with the company.
Breakdown of a Typical Executive Pay Package
Executive packages at Humana Inc. generally follow a rigid, performance-linked structure:
- Base Salary: Typically ranges from $700,000 to $1.35 million. This accounts for less than 10% of their ultimate take-home pay.
- Equity and Stock Awards: The vast majority of compensation (often 70% to 90%) is paid out in stock and option awards tied directly to shareholder value.
- Non-Equity Incentive Plan: Annual performance bonuses determined by specific metrics like Adjusted EPS and Medicare Advantage membership growth.
What’s US Severance?
Mentally preparing for Monday layoffs in aiops - how does severance work? Do you stay on the payroll for a certain amount of time or get the package worth up front? What happens if you find another job during your severance time (ex new job 2 months into a 3 month severance) - do you forfeit the last month?
Has Cisco transferred the severance payment to the accounts of employees whose last day was July 13?
Shameful, Scandalous & Incompetent. That’s being nice…
In the last three months we have been paid late once & have had our pensions messed up. Colleagues are leaving on mass, nobody is being replaced, we are expected to do more work without any benefits or reward and some colleagues are overloaded with that much work I’m surprised they haven’t left already. The company is a disgrace from top to bottom & the wage I receive with the responsibilities I / we is nothing short of scandalous. If you do a good job you get penalised & can’t pursue other opportunities, I have the mind to stop all my extra clearances & do the bare minimum. I used to enjoy working for DXC but every week gets worse, it genuinely feels like he-l, and the day I leave this torrid company will be the best day of my working life by far. I know that the majority of my colleagues are seeking new jobs & hopefully a load of us leave at once leaving a massive mess & for the system to collapse. If you are thinking of working for DXC don’t plan to stay here for more than two or three years otherwise it will become utterly unbearable & you will hate every single day.
What job should I go for next? One in a supermarket or a bin man? I’ll get paid more either way, I’ll have less responsibilities & I won’t be at risking of going to prison if I mess up.
Is this a sign that I am about to be sacked?

I find it strange they sent me this email today. After leaving the company? I did not do the VSP so why now do they want this updated? Anyone else get this email today?
RTM
So the RTM role is basically our rep job now (which su-ks) plus now we have to hire, on board, train, schedule, payroll and cover any and all call offs, vacation, quits. That’s insane. To top it off no Overtime! Who in their right mind would apply for that position???
Future layoff schedule
WF will replace it's biweekly pay schedule with a semi-monthly one starting January 2027. How will this affect the layoff calendar? The current predictable "Tuesday after the payday" would become harder to track given the irregular nature of the new schedule; i.e., the payday can fall on any day of the work week. Perhaps the layoffs will also occur on a semi-monthly basis, like around certain dates of each month?
Payday
Sunday June 21st is payday but friday the 19th all banks are closed. Any idea on what day we will get our checks?
Hourly employee .. paid twice today?
I received two separate payments today. One appears to be my regular paycheck, and the other shows a gross amount of $500 with a net payment of $150.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Could this be a payroll error, a bonus, or some type of adjustment? I’m planning to contact payroll, but I was curious if anyone has seen this before.
Pay issue?
Did I miss something about our deposits being different? None of my insurance was taken out, and my gross pay is less.
And now they can't even pay us on time
UK payroll messed up. I knew things were bad but not this bad. We might get paid the day after tomorrow or whenever. Will heads roll in HR for such a massive error? In any sane company yes.
Off-Shored
Anyone know if payroll ops has been off-shored?
July 2 off payroll?
Mid-week off payroll so they don't have to pay us for the holiday? Are they really that petty.
Where is my money?
I'm salary and normally my check clears in my bank by today but now it's magically not there after ODW went live for HR tools. Where the fu-k is my money?
ODW launched - where’s my paycheck?
U.S. usually receives direct deposits Wednesdays… umm what happened? yay ODW lol did my check go into JC’s account?
Unemployment/severance
I was impacted from the last layoffs, never been on unemployment before, how do you file, do you file and add severance package and PTO or do you not include that info reading online you don’t have to add that info in. I know it would not kick in till the 2 month being on the payroll .
Severance pay
How many weeks/months did you receive? Is it beyond the 2 month payroll period?
Payroll and Accounts Payable
Looks like Payrolland Accounts Payable get to find out their fate tomorrow during a “Leadership Synch” with their VP @9am. The invite did not appear until 3pm today and the AVPs bolted as soon as it came out. Probably not good news. I suspect news for the rest of finance in STL is probably in the works
Severance
For anyone receiving severance and has seen you paystub. Is it being reported as salary continuation connected to specific date range each two weeks or no specific dates shown on your paystubs.
Do we still get PSP if we were laid off?
I was confused by the documentation around PSP pay out as it said if it happened in the final month of the fiscal year that you would get it. Assuming since they did it in April, we will not get it, but confused since we are staying on payroll till July.
Anyone know how to check your paystub now?
Anyone know?
Did payroll outsourcing fail?
Normally get paid at least 2 business days before end of the cycle. Did the outsourcing partner drop the ball this pay period or is EM improving working capital to pay “on-time” and not 2+ days early on ACH?
Product purchases not being paid by the company
You may want to check the balance on your ExxonMobil gas card account.
When we swapped over to the new company which handles our paychecks someone forgot to check a box. The money was taken from the paychecks but never sent to the credit card company for payment.
While some employee's balances have been paid...............I am finding the majority have not. Interest is being charged.
Repayment signing bonus
Has anyone had experience leaving the company before completing one year of employment and being required to repay a signing bonus? If so, I’d appreciate any insight into how the process works in practice.
Specifically, I’m trying to understand:
How is the repayment communicated—do you receive a formal notice from HR or another team?
Is there a defined timeline to repay the amount?
What payment methods are typically accepted (e.g., check, payroll deduction, electronic transfer)?
Are taxes handled or adjusted as part of the repayment process?
To Those JE'd on 2/19
Last day of notice is 4/25. I assumed final paycheck (before severance begins) would be on the 5/1 payroll day. I received my direct deposit today which looks like it was my regular bi-weekly pay plus unused PTO (I am in a State that it must be paid out). Any idea why? Will severance begin with next weeks pay on 5/1?
Sales plummet - payroll hours slashed, dramatically reducing staffing
Sales have tanked to LY
Credit applications have plummeted
Customers discretionary spending has tightened up tremendously
Payroll Hours slashed in my region
Paystubs no longer received via email
Did Polaris mess up my email copy of my paystub? How do I set it up again?
April 10 paycheck and 401K Question
For those of you that did 401K contributions, did one get done for the final April 10 paycheck? Those normally show up in my Fidelity account within a few days but I don't see one. I have not recieved a paper pay stub for April 10 yet so I can't see if normal deductions came out of it. Thanks.
No one at Aero Olathe can see Friday’s 4/17 payslip
Going into HR direct and ADP link, there’s no payslip posted for tomorrow’s 4-17-26 pay period. I sure hope everyone gets paid.
Still experiencing payroll issues?
I was overpaid for one additional week on 4/6. I'm told they will not deduct this from a future check, and that I will eventually be sent a docusign document to repay the overpayment. They deducted an additional week of 401k deductions, too. I'm waiting to hear how they will address this since you can't just take money from this account without tax implications.
Is anyone else still having issues with payroll???
Pay discrepancy
Anyone notice this year their pay seems a bit lighter? I'm all for not having to pay at tax season but in this economy I'm not willing to wait until 2027 to get my money back from the government. Would prefer payroll figures out their error and fixes it.
Question on offer
I was offered a LL6, and was told the pay is once a month? Is that true? Seems like an odd thing to have in 2026. Some light research suggests non management is paid semi monthly. Not that I can’t manage my money it just seems strange - anyone know why or if there’s a way around it?
Paycheck
I'm hearing a nasty rumor that our paychecks may not come on April 15th as a result of issues in the system migrations. They're throwing any available resources at it but much like the W2 issues this is quickly becoming a trend. This must be what winning looks like
Moving to enterprise
Who's moving to enterprise? Payroll code changed Sunday for those moving. Good thing bad thing?
The question is how long will Cognizant keep you on the payroll.
My guess is when FIS ends your contract with Cognizant. That means FIS sc--wed you twice !
Payslip fusion problems
I have been trying all day to grab a copy of my payslip.
The link to last year’s payslip works but the main link just spins.
Has anyone else tried to get payslip copies recently?
