Providers were told of a meeting today, just yesterday. Most were let go, others moved to other clinics.

Our dealer liaison informed us he was let go today, effective immediately. Is this round 2?

Layed off but I must work for next 4 weeks. Was just asked to goto a meeting. TERMS- have to work until 11/27/2025 to receive severance. Out of nowhere. Blind - sided. Anyone else in my situation please comment here. Let’s help each other get through this!! 🤞

For those of us impacted this week, does Target have any track record of negotiating severance?

I was a "lifer" (almost thirty years) who was severed September 2024, and all the wind had left my sails in the turmoil throughout the year or so previous to that. In all my time there, there had never been a worse problem with either leadership (including the Dauman fiasco) or morale (including after the Freston firing).

It was still an emotional blow when it happened, but I had been expecting it and had already mapped out some personal projects I wanted to pursue in order to cleanse my palat.

After just a couple of weeks, I found that I was sleeping better, getting up earlier, laughing more, feeling more spry, and had lots of creative energy that I was excited to put to use.

In short, I felt about ten years younger -- which made me realize that this wreck of a company had been making me feel ten years OLDER.

The financial concerns that I face now now come nowhere near the stresses of being inside the ever-worsening toxic behemoth. My brain is in a far better place now.

And will anyone ever be held accountable for the state of affairs? Ruining people’s lives just to chase the stock price, because they have no better ideas.

This is disgusting. I feel deeply for everyone affected, and I sincerely hope they find something soon.

The first Monday of November is when layoffs were done the last 2 years. That allows your employment to extend into the following year and you get the annual bonus.

With so many layoffs without reason or replacements- none of these roles are actually “useless” they’re needed - the existing employees keep picking up the slack. It feels like the boiling a frog story, we just have gotten too used to doing more and more work for less and less pay. The workers have no say at all while they know the actual work being done and making the CEO money. Making the company more money to keep adding unnecessary C-suite executives with millions of dollars in pay. Why don’t we unionize? We have gotten too used to the lay offs of important workers without a real reason every Christmas. Multiple layoffs this year, we have gotten too used to this. The only “restructuring” needed is cutting the unnecessary executives and their made up roles. CEO has the personality that he’s an actor playing a CEO. These are people’s livelihoods he is playing with while getting richer than ever before.

Idling equipment is going away what about our jobs ? Does this fall under their cost cutting measures ?

There’s been no official communication. Nothing in the media either. We’re completely stumbling in the dark. Why? Do they want to make this even more tense than it already is? Our livelihoods are on the line.

Heard from a few peers that Monday 11/03 will be announcement for another staff reduction this year.

The comrades in management have slated the launch of their yellow ai for February so it is likely they will can more people then. I expect more centres to close as all disposable income seems to be pumped into this thing.

I’ve lost jobs before, but this time it felt particularly offensive and infuriating. I was dedicated, consistently a top performer, and I genuinely liked what I did. I was also lucky to have a great team. For the company to throw away valuable contributors like so many of us, and strip us of the chance to keep doing what we love really highlights how empty and pointless the corporate world has become.

I’m not saying this layoff is the end of the world, but it’s hard not to feel how disappointing, futile, and ugly it all is. In any case, good luck to all of us, both those who were let go and those who remain. Here’s hoping things start making a bit more sense again someday.

Most of us have been fed up with our jobs here, but we still need them. And it’s getting harder and harder to find something else. I truly hope everyone impacted today finds another job soon, ideally a better one, with a better company.

So let me get this straight. When the analysts are citing CM and his sale of stock as a reason for downgrading and selling stock, and lowering the outlook, under already existing pressure about future revenue, you have to wonder. All the layoffs (savings) that have come under CM are moot when it comes to a downgrade because of what CM did. I think SC needs to take CM out to the shed because his layoffs took good people out of Oracle, and maybe his layoff plans saved millions, and his boneheaded sale just cost ORCL billions. Way to go.

They laid off half the staff here this morning. The rest of us have our meeting at noon. And already laid off two clinics fully this am at 7.

Every day there's somebody saying it's happening tomorrow. Until we have official word, stop worrying and get to looking for something else. Whether you're laid off or not this round, there's always going to be the next one. The only useful thing to do right now is be proactive in your job search. That's it.

Every fu--ing round we lose more people and the rest of us are left scrambling how to the work without them. Well I'm done. Fire me if you won't, I'm not picking up any more work. Not a single thing is getting added to my plate this time. In all honesty, now I wish I was laid off. Who knows, maybe there's still time.
