I know they aren't pleased with the company's financial performance but will they eventually cut their losses or is there a possibility that we get sold soon? Any rumours on potential suitors? im sorry for the vague post. i dont have a lot of info and im wondering if anyone has heard anything similar.

i have a great relationship with my manager. they told me in our last meeting that they were told to brace for a disruptive announcement. i didnt think much of it but now i cant get it off my mind. thats all i know and i cant say where i am in sap or i risk me and my manager.

i dont want to start drama. i am just wondering if anyone heard anything similar and can help me understand whats happening. i am afraid to ask at the office.

Anyone know if the JE calendar was updated for the rest of the year? I heard there was something in April? If IT is really moving toward a 70/30 HIH/US split, it seems like there will be quite a few more JEs coming up. Low key hoping I get the axe 😬

Heard a rumor that this restructuring led to somewhere near 50 people getting title changes like “soft demotions“ and it’s in these people didn’t even lose their salary but they’re going to be asked to train others on what they do and then demote them further (with pay cut) or eliminate them by end of Q4

the remaining restructuring budget mentioned in report is : $639M

if they target high-pay areas (US/Canada Seniors): The number of layoffs will be lower (closer to 10k–12k) because the $639M will run out faster.

If they target low-pay areas (Global Support/QA): They can easily hit the 20,000 number to reach that 30k total. - this include the 10k from late 2025 as its under the same budget mentioned in the earning reports

Is 3/19 still the next big round? Any insights on which parts of Optum? Specifically anywhere is Optum Health/Care?

Anybody have any updates on layoffs or VSPP offers for outside techs now that the fiber is gone? Being as short handed as we were when I retired in December I can't imagine they would but the people running the show aren't exactly the smartest people in world.

I'm hearing some chatter about re-org in March. Specifically, I am hearing March 23rd being thrown around. No mention of layoffs but usually re-org is synonymous with layoffs. Has anyone heard anything or have anything to share. The is for STS/CET.

Any news on upcoming layoffs. In our market, we have some organizational changes. Where there’s a small team and a large team under one supervisor that’s supposed to have different roles. One team will be working on building a program. The other team would continue to do what they’re doing. Thinking this may be a sign that they’re going to eliminate an entire team.

I've been doom scrolling and reading all articles on Oracle and LE - and there are MANY right now - and I'm starting to worry that we're not being told everything and when cuts start, it's going to be much worse than we expect. LE is trying to do too many things at once and we might be the ones having to pay the price of it.

Anyone hear anything about returning to office? I hear rumors we are going to be mandated to become hybrid from fully remote work.

They indirectly announced layoffs, and eventually it will. Why to rush and go into legal problems. They will announce results and after all calculation and potential legal issues, they will do layoff. May be it can take couple of weeks.

Anyone know what to expect for Optum Corporate LCRA roles? Something is brewing but everyone is being secretive.

It’s not just me. Employees have stopped working. As the rumors continue, people are sitting and waiting. Why invest any effort at all if you’re gone “Tomorrow”. If Oracle wants to resume normal business , they better move past the layoffs rumors and make it happen. At this point workers have stepped off the playing field while they await word of their employment. Productivity has ground to a halt.

Someone said in a previous post that Belk corporate is supposedly having closed door meetings about this sight. Geesh, I would love to be a fly on the wall at that meeting.

Curious what everyone thinks about the upcoming LP. I feel like it is too good to be true about uncapping the profits (I think they said this?). Meaning we can go about the fixed return. If you know the size of the team that manages OIM you know it’s small. So ask the question why would a person in a small team place a target on themselves?

I heard 1/3 of DMS is being moved to IFG, 1/3 to member services and 1/3 are being cut. Is that true? Does that make sense? Why would they do that?

If results are good, they will layoff after a week so more stock price will up. If results bad they can fire on Monday. But oim request revocation far fetched
