Asking for a friend who is expecting an offer.

Is it 2 days per week ? Or can done 4 days a week and skip full next week ?

Are there any min hours in office requirement ? Or is coffee badging ok ?

The audacity of some people saying, ‘I’m from ITC, can you connect during my working hours?’ when their working hours are literally late at night through early morning for us.

One of my friends in merch told me there is a team who is being required to be there from 8 to 5 on RTO days. That was never a requirement before the pandemic and I’m wondering if that true for all of merch. I anticipate everyone will be on 3-4 days RTO soon, but I think specific mandated hours are insane. Schedules shift day to day for families. Is this true? Do I need to look for a new company?

I spend at least 8 hours in the office on my in person days. Is that necessary?

Rumors that they are tracking that an employee is in office not only 3 days a week but a minimum of 8 hours in the building each of those days at CHQ? Does anyone know when that starts and how they’re tracking that? We currently don’t have the badge out system yet?

I recently joined Intel , first off during pay negotiation the HR said the pay range in the job description is a typo and their internal system is showing a much smaller pay range. Is this ethical ?

Secondly, Within the first month I am putting in several afterhours late nights to meet with Asia folks. This was not mentioned in the job description or interview. Is this ethical ? What would happen if I refuse late night hours.

we have to hire at a career fair, without hours, put the new hires on payroll and not schedule them. what is happening here?

I’m starting to wonder if a regular workweek exists here anymore. Why is everyone doing extra time and acting like that’s just part of the job now?

In all this mess, good thing is that no one is controlling if you work from office 3 times a week for a long time. So stay home, learn new skills, and send those applications

Anyone else find the flexibility hours unnerving? Since when did they change hours of operation to 5am-6pm ct? As far as I knew it was 5am-10pm ct. I’ve always worked a later shift that no longer falls within their new hours of operation.

With this auto schedule program if you don't have 100% open availability you won't be scheduled because TLs aren't able to adjust it at all and our store was told today by TMS that full time hours are now 30 instead of the 36 we were getting looks like we will all be losing benefits as well since 30 hours isn't considered full time

Friday tomorrow. You know what that means. I’ll be in the office at 5AM sharp to drop off my laptop. I’ll connect to the LAN and clear my inbox, then head home around 7 to eat breakfast abs watch the masters. I’ll sit on the couch all day and drink beer as I watch every angle of every shot. Around 1 when I’m on the way out to the bar with the fellas, I’ll stop by the office to pick up my laptop after a solid 8 hours are logged. Nobody I work with is in the same office as me anyway so nobody can even question it. As long as your report shows 8 hours, nothing else matters anymore. I’ll check in again Monday morning. RTO has changed my life and now life is good. All you gotta do is “show up”.

How many hours does an individual need to stay in the office to count as a day?

A standard work day is 8 hrs. Why all of a sudden are people so stuck on 6 hrs in the office? Shouldn’t it be 8?

Has anyone spoken to their manager about the rule that we have to be in the office 8 am to 5 pm! My wife and I are trying ti figure out how to do school drop off and pick up without incurring the expense or before and after programs.

I’m for ending Summer hours to increase stock value. There will be a morale hit and some grumbling and attrition. But the employees will adjust.

Hearing from various high level people that soon all LOBs will force employees to make sure their 8 hours in the office are during core business hours such as 8 to 4 or 9 to 5. If you come in 6 and work until 2, they won’t allow it going forward. They want to align all LOBs and make sure everyone is working same hours for better collaboration and synergies

Hours keep getting cut at the store I work out (nothing new) but I was wondering if other stores having their hours cut too?

I see a lot of people talk about 50 or 60-plus hours, and it always surprises me because I’ve never worked more than the standard 40. My reviews have always been great, so I’m genuinely confused about the disconnect.

Following up on the email from yesterday regarding the 401k and today's town hall, I need to address the ongoing issues we're facing. It’s unacceptable that we are constantly being pressured to violate labor laws by working through lunch. PTO has essentially been eliminated, and now we have to seek permission from Workforce just to take time off.

Additionally, being asked to handle two chats at the same pay after the recent pay cuts is beyond unreasonable. We deserve clarity on what management truly expects from us. Why is there a lack of communication regarding the reasons behind these changes? Are the whistleblower TikTok videos the cause of this? It’s time for transparency and respect for the workforce.

Just a quick reminder that while we’re all committed to collaboration, scheduling meetings at 4 a.m. feels less like ‘flexibility’ and more like a hostage situation. Work–life balance shouldn’t require night vision goggles. Unless the building is on fire or we’re launching a rocket, no one should be required to function professionally at that hour.

It’s pretty stupid that after knocking out my work, day after day I have to sit in my chair and wait to get my “8 Hours in”. Is 7-7.5 hours going to be enough to stay off the list? Or, are they really going after people who have 7.5 hours in office? I’m already incredibly annoyed by this d-mb rule and I can’t believe we’re being treated like teenagers! Hopefully this nonsense ends soon

I clock in at around 8:30 AM, then around 2 PM, I left the office… I came back around 4:30, and I left at 5 PM. Do I get credit for 8.5 hours?

5-6 hours is enough if you go back home and finish up there

One of the key characteristics of exempt employees is flexible hours. Employees of this bank work more or fewer than 40 hours in a week, but they get their work done. Do we have a few bad apples? Every place does. Bring it DF, we right here!!!

After they started making threat, i cleared all my calls pre 9am calls so i could BE in the office 8 hours min. They want 9 to 5 in the office, that's what they get. I suggest all do the same.

Does anyone definitively know how Wells Fargo is tracking your "working hours"? I hear that the next big layoff is going to target people who are working only 10 to 20 hours a week. I work more than that (I hope) but it got me thinking about how they are tracking it. I have a permanent work from home exception so they cant track me through ID swipes. It just makes me nervous that they might be using a method that excludes me working remotely.
