I heard there was more phases after the first one. Any truth to this and what buildings?

Can anyone confirm if the Quincy office is indeed closed, and all the employees that were retained are now working from home? Also, was the requirement to live within a certain number of miles from an office removed as well?

Building on Alexander is closing June 15, 2026. All but a few are WFH with a handful going to HQ. Is this a simple move, shift or is there layoffs headed our way?

It seems most building offices are constrained for space and with the recent return to office, it has made hiring in locations almost impossible. Are they going to open up new buildings are get leases for locations constrained?

I retired in 2018. At that time they were closing a handful of the regional offices and transitioning to the hubs. I haven't kept up with the effort to close the regions. Does the farm still have any at all?

It seems to me the leadership is trying to have its cake and eat it. Stretch the remaining workforce as much as you can whilst expecting them to adopt AI, close multiple offices, remove any hope of career advancement unless you want to move 1000 miles, provide no clear strategy or plan and leave everyone on tenterhooks wondering if they’re the next one to be riffed. No empathy or support from senior leadership or HR. It’s a complete shambles and something major is going to go wrong very soon operationally. Verizon is not currently a coherent or fully functioning company. It’s crying out for some strong and clear leadership that adopt an understandable and logical communication plan

Rumors from credible sources shared the company plans to move the NJ Englewood Cliffs office to TX, home of its phone business. Anyone hear anything?

Update from Dan notes that the bone tree office is no longer penetrating the market, so this office is confirmed to be closing. All employees moving to previous WFH model, and then RIFs determined at an “unannounced” date. Sounds like there will be some consideration regarding the amount of candor an employee demonstrates.

What offices are closing and which date is the actually real for a rif. Either way I know we will have a big one prior to October due to the Stock Award being given that month. So obviously VZ will need people not here prior to that month. So Q2 or Q3 rif is in play. Will VZ wait till Q3 or is May actually for real?

Anyone expect an update tomorrow on the locations being closed? Really ready to get this over with and have the company just be honest with us.

So ridiculous. They are saying no directors except in Westlake or maybe Lone Tree. Even 59 PLs are getting warned during the interview process that they will have to get some sort of difficult approval. Do they genuinely expect everyone to move to those fiery city hellholes for this job? Cuz nope.
What about the offices THEY closed, like St Louis, New Jersey and Maryland? What about smaller offices like Chicago, Ann Arbor, Raleigh? And what about disability exceptions? If promotions are lost because of this policy, the lawsuits will be massive.

I know the old Dubin office opened at Polaris but is that place still there? Just wondering. I left the Dublin a couple years before it officially shut down. I've seen posts on this site saying it was going away but never heard if that actually happened.

In IL only 5 offices will be left. I cannot say which 5.
Customer Service has 3 waves, that will last to end of Q3.

Anyone have any word on what's going on with the Richardson building they acquired last year? I'm hearing some buildings in the Dallas area are going to be closed and the employees in those buildings will have to report to the Richardson location.

This is basically fourth hand, but I just heard they're trying to sell the office and everyone will be remote full-time.

Everyone is focused on the closures in Texas and Illinois offices, but Albuquerque’s situation is interesting. They closed one office within the last few months but shifted everyone to Alexander, does that mean Albuquerque is actually safe, or is that just a temporary pit stop?
