Most American corporations do not respect TCS. They only put up with TCS as they have the cheaper billing rates in the industry, just warm bodies filling up a chair. With the new Trump H1-B $100K visa rules, those bodies are disappearing from the client site.
TCS has no interest in the employees, they just want them to generate revenues.
No wonder TCS abuses their employees.
TCS su-ks.

Verizon is crazy for keeping us anxious for WEEKS!
I am not sure how Verizon's employees will bounce back. I see many creating resumes and trying to find a job. Once the layoffs are done, the employees who were meant to be retained will also leave. I don't understand how the leadership doesn't understand something as basic as this. Every company that has done layoffs, do it FIRST, then go to the press. Here, we are getting to know the fate of the company not from our employer, but from news outlets. That's extremely disrespectful. I hope people realize their self-worth and abandon ship before its too late and Dan decides to come for them.
Being asked to work in day off but store manager is still off
If you are a sales team / MTM/manager and the store manager is asking you to work on your day off but THEY STILL get two days off and are leaving by 4 or 5, file an internal grievance with corporate HR and document everything in detail and in writing with dates. this type of conduct has to stop, belk needs to be aware of these good for nothing store managers.
Too much going wrong with SAP
I had been lurking on this site for a while and decided to post today because I couldn't handle it any longer.
As a long-term SAP employee, I can no longer identify with the organization. We've always had reorganizations and layoffs, but I've never seen the Board and HR be so anti-employee and put employees against one another.
Here are some trends I am noticing:
There is no MOVE SAP for T1-T3 personnel.
Annual salary appraisals are not even close to inflation, thus we lose money each year.
HR-focused managers instead of development managers.
Hiring freeze.
Travel freeze.
Rumors regarding closing locations other than Walldorf and St Leon Rot.
Replacement positions only in low-cost areas.
Anti-migrant sentiment.
Board compensation increasing dramatically each year.
Almost every German employment is offered solely in Walldorf and St Leon Rot.
Performance management is a reasonable approach to pay employees less.
No more catalyst or comparable schemes.
AI-first strategy, but showing no business development.
Organizational restructuring, such as HPOM, is built on influencer propaganda.
The stock price has plummeted.
Board says regular layoffs are non-negotiable without giving a good reason.
Stupid AI replacing important support, QA, IT and development functions instead of HR.
Employees coerced into giving their managers spectacular unfiltered reviews or forego salary increments.
Share buybacks.
Budget available for executive travel and entertainment but not development.
Stupid online courses instead of career focused learning by human experts.
Legal troubles.
Acquisition after acquisition without integration of acquired employees.
Only the same people getting the big jobs and promotions everywhere at SAP while others haven't found a new position in years.
You have to be a balding German white male based near Heidelberg to land a good management position.
Anti-women sentiment.
Executives openly making derogatory statements without any consequences - equating life altering career changes to brushing teeth.
CEO having no foresight or long-term plan to improve company and instead blatantly lying about things like "we'll create new 15000 positions in India" only to follow with layoffs everywhere.
Managers given so much power that it is more important to keep your managers happy than your customers happy.
Reduction in benefits.
Anti Muslim sentiment.
Week long party budget in some areas (Signavio) while other areas suffer and don't even have budget to hire development consultants.
Too many HR employees who in turn say we have too many QAs, developers, product managers, designers, etc.
Fake career progression plans as the only way to grow is to find another job.
Too many "innovation teams" that create stuff shown at Sapphire but it never makes it into production.
I can go on and on but this is already a long list.
What do you think? Do you share a similar sentiment? Do you agree or disagree with any of the items listed here? Having a good stable job without politicking seems almost hopeless at SAP.
In the past, points like these were enough to fire board members. But now the transfer of wealth and power from employees to executives is normalized. What can employees do to get back power and ensure a stable career at SAP?
Can we be sure it's over?
And that we won't be ambushed by more cuts tomorrow or next week?
Anyone from France?
Has anyone from France been affected by the layoffs?
I wish the best of luck to everyone impacted
My heart goes out to all who’ve been affected so far. Synopsys employee here, and it seems like Ansys folks have been hit especially hard, at least based on what we’d heard before this round. That’s really unfair, since I know quite a few people from that side who were skilled, dedicated, and genuinely great at what they did. I can only assume performance and experience weren’t major factors. Remember, these are corporate cost-cutting decisions. They almost never reflect our true professional value or potential.
I don't even care anymore
Am I the only one who only thought "okay" when reading the news? This has been dragged out for so long that I'm now numb and I don't even care anymore. If they want to get rid of me, so be it. It's not like those staying behind will be in a much better position with all the extra work coming their way.
A friend's kid just got a job here
She called me excitedly to share the news. I really didn’t have the heart to tell her how bad of an idea I thought it was, or how I don’t think he’ll last more than a few months in this toxic atmosphere. He’s too nice of a guy, and you need to have a much thicker skin and fewer scruples to survive here. I almost feel like an a--hole for not warning her, but what good would it do?
How many people might be affected in stores only?
This is horrible news. I’m so sorry, guys, for all of us.
Brace for impact
So 15k is the number. Which is still short of the 20%. So most likely round 2 will be after January. Those lists were already made as most people suspected. If anyone has actual details on how the layoff procedure works from prior experience, please inform us is there an HR call is there a WebEx? And what are the details of the actual severance if there is any?
one out of every 10 will not be here after the following week. That will be one out of every five after January. Sad state of affairs.
I guess this means the list is finally completed
Pay attention to how your manager is acting from now on. If he or she starts avoiding you or being excessively nice all of a sudden, you know what's coming.
Layoffs will not stop don't apply to work here
The company was in a growth/acquisition phase for basically 10 years, now with the current landscape and the negative sentiment from stockholders, the government, employees, cratering stock price the layoffs will not end, only increase. Raises are next to nothing along with bonuses, stacked ranking laying people off even if they are good performers, over worked/over stressed, useless surveys, etc. 10 years ago the company was actually good to work for, the company is now a shell of its former self. Don't work her unless you want to constantly worry about being played off and overworked.
RIF for claims?
I wondered if anyone heard about claims facing RIF. I thought about it through out the year as I filled out my performance review but haven’t heard a single thing or received any emails about my performance in general. Quarterly bonuses end up in my check with no communication or anything sent about them. It’s giving … you’re here for a short time.
I hope those of you at VZ are watching Joe's all hands
Love that he kept the meeting and is actually addressing the issues (well, sort of). Still, much better than all the "leaders" who are simply hiding and too chicken to talk to their employees (like Kyle or Shankar)
The goal of A.I.
Management is trying to make the vast majority of their workforce obsolete, because they realize that those workers are coming to grips with how obsolete, and malicious, these "leaders" are.
It's a showdown on a massive social scale as haves and have nots push each other to the point of watching the resourcefulness and the competence of the individual to rise above both ownership and technology, in order to focus on one single thing - GETTING SH*T DONE.
PS. I want my Fu**ing bank back. I am not your slave. I am not your knight. I will not fight for those who seek to destroy me, or defend those who blindly comply.
Employment reference letter after layoff
Has anyone taken an employment reference letter from Oracle after being laid off (for next employer)? If so, does it mention any reason for termination (eg laid off)?
Here it is for us
Just had a meeting with director and supervisor . Salisbury, MD, Dover De, Hampton Roads and Richmond Call centers are being shut down. Wireline fios customer service in Silver Spring is where we can go and return to office. We can take the package or relocate there. 90 days! The package is nice but people are upset

November Layoffs
For the person that said Layoffs are coming Nov 17 & 18, I can confirm that this is real. I was accidentally copied on an email that I shouldn’t have been. I don’t know how they can layoff anymore people from that team because they already have a skeleton crew and if we’re supposedly in the cloud, wouldn’t you need engineers to make sure the customers products continue to work. It’s just in time before the All-Company Meeting. I’m sure SM will put on his sad face and pretend the layoffs break his heart. His song and dance is getting old. I pray for the best for those affected by the layoffs. May you find stable, healthy employment quickly.
FYI; Upcoming layoffs planned for November and January
Mid-November layoff is already on going at the moment. They are planning to have about 13-16 technician per manager.
This is a step closer to replacing all the blue badge techs with green badges.
Neuro RIF
Confirmed, Irvine just laid off 30+ workers in 1st and 2nd shift. Will be seeing more in the coming months when volumes get reduce. Management did not annouce ahead. Too bad for the people. Ofc management did not care.
People leader or individual contributor
When did Ford move to the People Leader / Individual contributor model? And how did they categorize existing employees at the time? Did anyone get a say in their label?
Geico Insurance planned to layoff 20% in Jan.
Geico is reportedly planning to lay off around 20% of its workforce in January. According to employees, the company intends to label the affected group as “low performers,” with approximately 20% of employees in each department expected to be classified this way.
How the fu-k is there a caste system here???
How is it even legal. I don’t care about race or anything. But somehow these people have not gotten the message. Favoritism being paid to their own kind??? How is that even legal????
This post nails it
Not mine, source below:
there are 30K+ schwabbies, of course some of them are terrible at their jobs—it's a massive sample size. many software folks are completely unaware of the infrastructure their app rides or how their app should even function to deploy boilerplate functionality. backbiting and driving a wedge between software and systems where there should be a bridge is emblematic of the shortsightedness that's rife at schwab. do you feel clever when you post your half-arsed attempts at angering folks you don't like? feeling's mutual, mate.
the real issue is the strict adherence to process and procedure for the sake of perception. no one—literally no one—with their hands on the wheel has any intention of changing or updating the outmoded systems to effect any real change out of fear for their jobs, all the while ignorant of the fact that their jobs are in jeopardy anyway.
this is a top-down problem. phrases like, "we've always done it this way," or, "well you're the __ expert, you tell me," are just symptoms of schwab's inability to move forward. everyone acts like they're on different teams, competing for rick's attention, instead of realizing they're just playing different positions on the same team. if the WR and the QB have a sour relationship, whose fault is it that the play ended in an incomplete pass?
y'all need to seriously learn some compassion, do some introspection, and read the phoenix project. when your new VM takes four months to deploy instead of two weeks, will you blame the same people you always do or will you realize that the archaic business process has been compounded by fewer folks to fill the requests?
of course not, you'll still be whacking away at your keyboard, complaining that folks who aren't badging in at the office every day are "ruining it for others." do everyone else a favor and get over yourself.

We need more people
We’ve been asking for help for months. Now suddenly there are going to be more layoffs, and we could lose even more people? If that happens, I’ll quit myself. I’m already doing the work of three people. I can’t do any more. There aren’t enough hours in a day, and to be honest, I don’t want to. I’m done being treated like a robot and expected to do more with less all the time.
Colocation and consolidation
So much for being star performer.
I'm in SMT, got rated as exceptional performer.
And this morning, I was told my position is strategically moved to NC where there are all the developers, including my manager.
I have 2 months to find a new role or accept severance
The ghost of past SWN wrongdoings is putting jobs in danger
Way and his band of merry VPs and directors are leaving us all in peril, one more time.
"The hack job they did during the merger have led to a wave of dissatisfaction among investors, who are now seeking their rightful compensation. It remains to be seen who will ultimately bear the cost of these developments". This is clearly a straightforward decision, and HR is well-equipped to handle the situation effectively.
Happy bean soup Thanksgiving and merry humble pie for Christmas, y'all!
Layoff 20 Nov
Managers are currently in meetings after being asked to rank their employees. Not a rumor.
Unit Leaders are the problem.
Nothing more to add. It'll continue to get worse as long this is the case. We'll continue with cuts, 1% here and 2% there. If you look at what they are doing, we are destroying ourselves from inside. It's hubris, mismanagement, egos, lack of skills and common sense. Lack of emphaty and any concern for the employee.
Another round of layoffs for VSE
Another 6 people in my group of 30 got layoffs yesterday from VSE in RA. Came out of nowhere.
Of course they kept some of the more useless people.
I haven't seen anything posted about it. Strangely quiet and quick.
US layoffs
Just notified today not really surprised. Over 55 in the US
200+ gone from Caleb org
This company knows how to go under the radar with these layoffs. That’s why it’s important to post here because it’s the only way to stay informed when the Warn act isn’t triggered
Bonus elgibile
I recently became bonus eligible (grade 11) in September (US employee).
However, I was basically told “everything is under review and typically you’d get 33% of your bonus in cash and the other 67% in stock”
Anyone know if that’s staying and when the payouts typically are? Can’t find anything on FUEL and my managers keep saying they can’t be 100% certain…
I hate this !
Ugh today at DHK the rumors of layoffs are spreading again - that it’s going to be after the holidays in January. I don’t know if it’s true because people always talk a lot but last time the rumors were right.
If NYP did their job right and protected children and women from being as--ulted. I’m sure there would be no to fewer layoffs. God bless everyone in this time. We’re not just numbers we are people with real lives. Take care of each other and if anyone has more info keep us posted !
Waters is a publicly listed sweatshop at this point
Benefits in 2026 are virtually nonexistent, and I can't believe there hasn't been a lawsuit. Wages are equally terrible. It’s a shame. Employees face exploitation at every level, while management is taking advantage of workers whenever they can.
ETL layoffs to be announced in February
Been a faithful team member for 22 years and married to a corporate employee for 20 years. 800 to 1,000 ETLs will be layed off in February. The attrition will be focused in the GM areas, and the Senior Food and Beverage ETL role will be eliminated later in the spring of 2026. Tough times ahead, but these moves should help us stay competitive. Just praying my job isn't eliminated.
Support Through Action
As many of us are finding out this morning, today is the start. For those of us fortunate to stay, we should aim to actively support those who will be forced to leave. Please remember to help those impacted by supporting their search for new employment. You have networks and skill sets that will help.
