Once again, like in a couple years ago, I heard serious comments about a new round approaching and it is very nicely scheduled for December, so you know, you can start exploring your career goals.. well well let's see how this season goes this year, at least we are now purple, bald and very shiny, what a se-y combination

Department Targets for future rounds
Does anyone know what the targets were for this round and what they will be for future rounds?
Do we expect more groups to be cut more or wait for RTO Phase 2 happens also to see who leaves then
To all who will be RIF'd tomorrow morning
If you want it congrats. If you need your job and want to stay, I wish you luck and prayers.
OT and OC look to be the ones getting it the worst.
December 2nd - Round Two
Now, people are talking about 12/2. I've asked my director and she's saying it is not happening, we are all done - what are your thoughts?
Pre Christmas layoffs incoming
Today's meeting was vague but about layoffs coming before Christmas. No clue on areas affected or size.
Nov 3rd or 11th the next layoff date?
or they are going to wait til December?
How long might this round of layoffs last?
I’d rather find out tomorrow than spend days or weeks being a nervous wreck.
Anything next week?
Any rumors about next week? Nov 6th is on the layoff calendar!
30,000 layoffs tomorrow

Which teams are being hit?
1000 layoffs in round 1 Wednesday
According to Bloomberg. Wonder when round 2 will come.
Come back, Informant!
We need that person or people who had the very solid info before The Email came out to come back and feed us more.
How is tomorrow going to unfold? This one isn't like the last one (2015). There was no notice ahead of time.
Can someone who knows please tell us if there will continue to be small rounds with a team here and there or if there'll be another big bang in January or February?
Layoff 10/30
Thread dedicated to 10/30. Please share only credible information.
Next Layoff - Notifcation 11/21 - Exit 12/5
Hello Folks. The last round was just over on 10/23. The next round is fast approaching. Employment at ATT is like paying utility bills - it happens monthly and don't know the number (in this case employees impacted).
More layoff coming
Sadly looks like more layoffs coming. Some Procurement and Customer Service roles will be going overseas. Also, more layouts in Sales. Moral is brutal at best and Sr. Leadership has a disconnect with their sales force.
Anymore Layoffs this year?
Is it going to be calm for the rest of the year?
1 week
Any new information? Just seeing people vent (which is understandable). This is too big and widespread for nobody to know anything
Q1 Layoffs
2026 Q1 layoff list is being prepared.
Just relax - Last one for this year on the way
Last one for this year - another 5 to 7k to Let go, Majorly in US, Silent announcement will follow in the next few Business Days = Thanks Giving Reward for the Employees (Rember next 2 to 3 years there will be a Huge Reorg is going to happen, that will be beyond what we have seen this year, this is just tip off the Ice berg)
Do you expect any layoffs before the end of the year?
What's happening in the rest of 2025? How about Q4? Any cuts planned?
Do we really think this will stop at 80 people?
I’m truly sorry for everyone who was laid off, it’s heartbreaking to see. But I can’t shake the feeling this may not be the end of it. I think it’s wise to stay alert and keep an eye out for other opportunities, just in case.
October 23rd - Huge RIF coming
RIF coming soon and notifications will be on 10/23. Believe it will be 6% across the company and all departments will be impacted. Thanks for the usual early Christmas present, Verizon.
I’ll go nuts before this is over
Anticipating layoffs for this long really does a number on your psyche. You can hate your job all you want, but most of us desperately need it right now. Have you seen the job market lately? Or the cost of everything going up? I’m extremely worried about what’s coming and painfully aware that our options are severely limited.
New WTO in the second half?
I started to hear rumors that an LR is in the works for 2HFY26. With the government shutdown, bookings could be soft. If there is a smoke, there is fire somewhere.
How are you spending your last month now that lists are final and all we can do is wait?
Who is trying to see if their manager will let it slip who is on the list? Me!
PEAK
It’s been quiet. Probably another slow Peak? Then lay offs after the first of the year?
The fate of remote workers
This is how I understand things will play out as well. If anyone can confirm, please do.
All of this is purely speculation, but given that remote workers are included in Phase 2, the coming layoffs will probably be related to other factors and not necessarily if you're remote or not. Then next year, you'll all be assigned a NY/LA office and you'll need to relocate by Q3, or else be let go.

More layoffs before the end of the year
Is that a certainty by now?
I asked ChatGPT to predict the next USAA layoff and the response is pretty good!
It’s just for fun:
“If USAA does plan a major layoff, it is most likely to occur before the end of 2025, perhaps in late Q4 2025 (October–December), as part of restructuring under the new CEO’s agenda.”
It also talks about if there’s someone does similar tasks as you, your odds of being laid off is higher. Based on available data, it looks like there are a lot of redundancies in the risk and compliance space. Even though there’s a lot of regulatory hurdles USAA still have to deal with, but it seems like data suggests that the current structures are not effective.
Business control
When are the next business control layoffs?
What’s next?
So what’s next? All that news, all the upper echelon are being moved around. The ripple effect has just begun… anyone know anything else that will be announced this coming week? I still think those emails Friday were just the beginning.
Any idea what awaits us next week?
Nothing good, I’m sure.
If I were offered a voluntary package
I’d take it without a second thought. If what some people are saying is true, that voluntary packages have been offered to some recently, and that another big round of layoffs is coming by early 2026 the latest, I really hope they roll out a VP company-wide first. Why not? I’m sure plenty of people would take that option.

Hope all ready for the upcoming October-December RIF.
