I wonder how Oracle will meet their targets for the DoD/VA, and the other two federal clients. Teams that were already short on people and missing deadlines are even worse off now. Cerner has been called before Congress for missing targets before. Give it a year or two and it might happen again.

Who will be targeted?
Anyone have any idea about who will be targeted by the layoffs?
How they can get so many things wrong is beyond me
If management had to spend even a single week working under the same strict rules they’re pushing on us, they’d see how unrealistic and counterproductive they are. It’s easy to make policies from an office far away, but when you’re the one dealing with constant pressure and impossible targets, those rules just don’t hold up. Maybe if the people making these decisions actually experienced them firsthand, they’d think twice before rolling them out.
High earners are always targets
If your paycheck is bigger than most, brace yourself. Management doesn’t care about loyalty. They’ll cut the highest-paid first without blinking. It’s frustrating, unfair, and exhausting. Keep your resume ready and don’t kid yourself thinking it won’t happen to you.
Anyone know if the company is on target for any of the corporate goals?
Never have I ever saw a company set goals for employees and never offer a glimpse of whether it’s on track to not.
Sell, Sell, Sell
Very strong focus on selling these days. From delivery partners to client partners: everyone has been asked to contribute to quarterly revenues. Looks like the old IBM days of shoving iron ( aka Z systems) down everyone’s throat and generate revenue.
The WIM hammer
The WIM hammer is coming. Market Leaders not recruiting, gone! Branch Managers not recruiting, gone! Not generating income via Alts, gone!
