Got a nice raise of nearly $20k. Nothing like getting laid off and realizing you were being severely underpaid in your previous position.

I had a customer screaming at me over something that wasn't my error. My supervisor heard the whole thing, knew the customer was wrong, and still threw me under the bus to save face. He apologized to the customer for my confusion, then he pulled me aside and told me to just let it go with a lecture about customer experience. I hate it here.

I'll probably be checking my email at midnight on Sunday lolololol

Had such a hard time working Friday thinking about what will happen. It's Saturday and the only thing I can think of is what's going to happen on Monday. Anyone else feeling anxious?

There's no reward for hard work at Oracle anymore. The raises are terrible, nobody gets recognized, whether you're the best or just getting by, it's all the same. So I keep asking myself why I should even try. The answer I keep coming back to is that I probably shouldn't. Just do what's required and move on. It's not worth the stress.

No meaningful raises for 99% of the employees
No more monetary awards to recognize years of service
No cost of living increases
Rare that leaders are allowed ot give monetary thank you's for going the extra mile.

Seagate management for years has not taken care of employees so this is your one time to show that you really care and actual "HEALING" can begin.

I'm genuinely curious. If you hate your job so much, shouldn't you be trying to get out? I'm happy where I am, and I come here because I fear losing my job, not because I hate the company. The overwhelming hate I encounter here all the time is always shocking to me.

Or is that just me?

I put so much effort into my work and I know it's good. Other people notice and comment on it, but I never seem to get anywhere because I'm not part of the favored group. I don't know why I keep trying so hard.

I used to be proud to tell people where I worked. It felt like a company that actually cared about its people. Now it's unrecognizable.

I came across this site and want to share the situation in FIS.
Our office reports to managers in Bangaluru India.

The managers are very rude with our teams. They talk very loudly in the team meetings.
The FIS Managers lack basic management skills. They want us to call them sir and madam.
No one is willing to join FIS here in Philippines, though there are open positions. I have worked for 3-4 years and looking for job outside FIS.

Be truthful.

Before I quit two years ago, I remember it taking 15 minutes just to log in every morning. To say the place was a mess would be an understatement. Not to mention, the whole Genpact deal destroyed already low morale. I was so happy to leave it all behind. Have things improved at all since then?

My manager just notified me the pay raise this year. An awesome 15% hike.

Things changed fast. It's sad. Nothing more to add.

Clocking off at 3pm Fridays is a good thing for employees. The email says flexible working which implies that we are expected to have worked 40hrs by 3pm, which is fine, but it is not clear, especially as hourly staff get a paid day off in lieu.
If we are allowed to clock off at 3pm regardless, that’s a mess, if someone starts work at 8am and a colleague starts at 10am do they both still finish at 3, can we change the day if workloads prevent an early Friday finish?

I don't hate my life anymore!

I usually love this time of year, but I couldn't get into it this weekend. The constant stress of this job has just su-ked all the happiness out of me.

Is anyone else struggling to find any drive to keep going here?

I got out and my life changed overnight. You have no idea how much of your anxiety is caused by this place until you leave.

The worst decision of my career.

I look around and I see so many talented people putting up with so much nonsense. We all deserve so much better than what we're getting here and what we've been getting for years. It actually surprises me that more people haven't already decided to leave and find something better.

If you accepted the offer, why are you still nervous? This is an honest question. If I got it, I'd have accepted it and been relieved. I don't understand all the anxiety over a longer wait. Either you get approved, which is what you wanted, or you don't, and you stay in the same situation you're in now. What's the issue? What am I missing?

I can't shake this feeling of dread even though logically I know nothing major is happening this week. I guess Fiserv finally broke me.

A few days off used to be enough to reset, but now it's not even close. I don't think any amount of time away would make me actually want to come back here.

Not long ago I was reminding myself how blessed I am. And how I hope to get to retire from Centene. I never thought it would be this soon though. Alot of years with a lot of good memories that I will always cherish. We had soooo much fun in the Tyler office.
I had A LOT of great team leaders and supervisors (except for one that was absolutely heartless but she didn't last long thankfully!) Alot of good people I have met along the way that I now can call my very good friends. My bestie L.A.! I want you all to know that you hold a very special place in my heart and I will never forget you. I'm really sad though. This has indeed been an emotional rollercoaster.
Alot of mixed emotions tonight as we all try to get some sleep. Just know that you are not alone, I don't know everyone but 60k is alot of people. We are like a family and maybe somehow someway we can keep in touch.
Thanks Centene for the growth and knowledge that I have received. The fun times, the laughs and the smiles. Those that have passed away who I will never forget may you RIP 😢

I can’t believe it’s really over. I would gladly work In the office full time again if it meant I could keep my job. AT&T was such a big part of my life. I feel so lost.

You would have to be very limited in job experience to think Dst was a good employer. I hear people reminisce about the good old days. They are wrong. Security guards walked hundreds of staff out the door and fired them as staff showed up for work in the morning

There's something I've noticed: a meeting starts, someone kicks it off with the generic "How's it going?", and the response is a crestfallen look, a deep breath, and "it's fine."

Nobody is okay anymore. Nobody is happy. Nobody is getting anything done.

We have no leadership, no support, and no idea where to go from here.

We can't go on like this.

Take it from somebody who was laid off last year. Looking at where the company is now, I can safely said that being cut helped me dodge a bullet. I'm honestly relieved to be out of there. Severance was more than enough to get me to my next job (took me close to three months to find one). My new job pays a little less, but it has better bennies and much better job security. I'm genuinely happy now. I know everybody is nervous with the wait, but just take this into consideration.
