Case Management
Any word on if Case Mgmet will be impacted?
Reorg
My original post was deleted so I’ll filter this one. What counts as a reorg for a layoff?
Half of my group is moving to another manager, but not a BU. The head of my department is losing half of their downloaded. Am I at risk?

Lack of Communication
As of today’s end, our department has still not received any communication from leadership regarding compensation. The ongoing lack of clear leadership and consistent communication continues to be our department’s most significant concern.
Get rid of useless departments like Global and WHQ Reselience
Business continuity? The “Nike intelligence center”? Emergency management? Literally millions are being WASTED in payroll and opex with people getting paid to twiddle their thumbs, while people who actually do work are getting decimated.
Humana Department RIF list
Pls list any department or area with active RIF’S . Maybe we can see a pattern ?
Timing of leadership timing
Why did it take so long to officially announce Omar’s departure? Jeff has been in the role since February.
Which regions and departments have been affected?
If you have reliable info, please share. Good luck to all.
Departments that have Checked Out
I’m sure there are numerous, but the 360 app team is a total mystery to me. No one responds to emails or messages. It’s impossible to get any answers to XDA or FMP. I am starting to think none of them know the programs and aren’t able to answer questions.
Exit programs
Anyone had their realignment meeting yet today? If so, what dept are you and what did they say??
Anyone else get a 9a department mtg tomorrow?
Assuming more layoffs tomorrow.
Get ready for Departure
Boarding begins 8AM Tuesday
Client Services
Layoffs have been making their way into the department, and there keeps being talk that Platinum Service Leads are next amongst coworkers. Management is also really pushing for us to prove we are busy. Just wanted to put it out there and see what people have been hearing.
Where to hitch your wagon
you can usually tell the power setup in a department within the first 5 minutes of a meeting.
just watch who the boss talks to first. watch who they ask for ideas, who they look to for answers, and who they check with before moving on.
when a boss says stuff like, "jason, what do you thnk??? or "nicole, what is your take?" that tells you a lot. it shows who they trust and whose opinion matters most. that is usually the person with real pull in the room, even if their title does not sound the biggest.
sooo, its simple, pay attention to that person….learn how they think. build a good working relationship with them. a lot of times, that is the person helping shape the real decisions and decides who moves up or down.

SM/Director Cuts Coming Today
And we’re going to a consolidated D&C org
Are you in beauty? Consider Merle Norman
Merle Norman is a great option if there are any near you. Commission is much better than belk, without the insane requests for credit, working in other departments, and understaffing.
Nonsense Projects
We had a coffee chat with the director of our department, and they mentioned that most of the LCS projects are likely to be either discontinued or significantly scaled down. At the same time, there’s another initiative emerging informally around DAC using Amines. The person leading this has no knowledge of fundamentals. Another waste of resources.
Opinion on the AI insight everyone forced to watch
my opinion, complete waste of time. Department trying to justify their wasted "AI" investment.
Who’s next? Which depts? Post here
Any insight on which depts/teams on the upcoming lists? There are 4 more layoff dates - along with individual layoffs thru Q4 2026.
Anyone have the list they can share?
Layoffs Today 3/19 String
Sorry to all who have to endure today, remember you are strong, you are worthy, chin up! Please add if you are laid off this week, what department, job title, grade and how many numbers if you know. Good luck.
Internal job transfers
Does anyone know if bosses can essentially block an associate from transferring to another internal job? No known freezes or limits within the department on transfers.
How to post on here
Give details. Optum is complex so we need more details than just "layoff 03/19"
Which departments? Which lines of business? Clinical or nonclincial? Operations, legal, HR, clinics?
Saddle Creek Logistics Cuts 151 Jobs in Bessemer

More layoffs
I’m hoping our team is next. Seriously our team serves no purpose to be fair. It could be done by other departments or really just an automation in the system. It’s not survival it’s just the truth. Not sure why they even made this team as it doesn’t even make sense. Literally here collecting until the end because it pays something while looking elsewhere.
Does anyone know the real number?
All we know is that at least 150 people will be laid off. No details on departments, no official confirmation.
What is your API percentage in your role?
Wondering how they differ among departments, what is your API percentage goal?
Irving Risk Layoff Next Week
Confirmed there will be a huge impact on Irving Risk department next week
Department managers regularly work in their days off an extra hours without pay, see this too?
post here if you see this too.
Restructuring??
Word on the streets is that they’re going to be “restructuring” my department. Anybody on here have that happen to them? Just trying to prepare myself for anything.
Are there any departments/areas more stable?
Are there any departments/areas more stable?
From my experience, at one time CSO(Chief Security Office) had more(though not complete) stability but that is no longer true.
Any areas exist today that are more stable? departments, sometimes better VPs in some areas.
Numerous examples of non-value adding work
With the number of major IT incidents after a big layoff event, LC has his whole organization follow his EY friends' direction of making tactical work very visible by spending more time in Azure DevOps (ADO) than actually delivering work.
It's unfortunate that business leaders (as well as his own boss RB) cannot go into ADO and read the ridiculous types of features and stories that IT employees are being forced to put into ADO. A fine tool for developers has been ba----dized into an overwhelming complicated task list, with the CIO having prioritized data quality in ADO as his top item to deliver. There are literally hundreds of thousands of entries, each entry with the expectation of having completeness, with scrum masters and RTEs writing up stories that effectively means "schedule a meeting with stakeholders xyz" with a value of 10 because they had to fill in all these ridiculous fields.
How can RB be OK with this? An entire IT department wasting their lives away..
Layoff check in
If you were laid off today or tomorrow check in. What department?
Recent displacements
I just heard the entire asset movement department in Operations in St Louis was displaced. Any truth to that?
S&T cuts coming in next 1-2 weeks?
Hearing rumblings of S&T cuts coming within the next 2 weeks. Any specific sectors/divisions? Assuming the DPA teams that were swept under the rug and consolidated under Dave will be first to go?
Customer care team re-org
Heard several people discussing another re-org in CC, they can't seem to get this dept right. Supposedly they are not happy with current management/ staffing level.
