The Idaho National Laboratory (INL) and its contractor confirmed recent employee layoffs. Battelle Energy Alliance initiated an Involuntary Separation Program. This program aims to reduce current workforce staffing levels. Fewer than 1% of INL employees were impacted, totaling under 50 positions. The company stated this aligns the workforce with national and Department of Energy priorities.

If you have been laid off recently, What department were you in and what band level? I see a lot of Evicore people are being laid off. I'm wondering if this applies to any other Cigna preauthorization department? Customer Service reps? IT teams? etc. Also, were you given any notice, or were you laid off immediately without notice? I'm just trying to see where Cigna is going with this. The suspense kinda got me what to just quit and go full force with my side business.

Many of our corporate teams were laid off, but I am hearing some of those who were kept will be placed into other roles?

Within my department, senior managers and below are all in the dark right now. So who is deciding to save who?

I always thought ISG = Inside Sales Group and CSG = Channel Sales Group, but apparently neither are sales related... Still don't know what they are but, why are those groups seemingly always hit so hard?

Are any other departments implementing new and far out there changes? Our department was told today no one can start work before 7am even though we follow EST and some of the team are in different time zones. I feel like they are trying to see who they can push out so they don’t have to pay severance.

GN&T did their usual shuffle of ADs and SDs after the RIF. For those that are unfamiliar, once a year or once every few years, they shuffle ADs and SDs from one department that they’re unqualified to lead to another where they’re typically even less qualified. It’s one of the many brilliant strategies that have allowed the competition to catch up or even surpass VZ

GCAS moving to a functional accountability model, head of CIM APAC is gone and will be overseen by a US head. Honestly this is a good change because CIM APAC has been a disaster for years with no accountability or desire to follow required internal or regulatory processes.
