After receiving NSI - is there a PIL option at Imperial?
In the US (for ExxonMobil), the PIL option seems to be three months.
Is it the same for Imperial (Canada) or do they have to offer more, especially if you have 20 or 30 years service?
Past 10 Years, TDC Down 4%
How can an “analytics” company have negative stock price performance and consistently declining revenue for over a decade? This is a high growth market. The leadership is poor and the board is apathetic. This is embarrassing.
Activity tracking expansion
Well looks like this is being expanded to personal lending. The email assured us this will not be used to evaluate individual performance. Sounds like complete BS to me. I’m in position where work isn’t always steady, comes in waves, one week slow, next one busy. I don’t think I like what this means for people like me.
Any experiences with this anyone would like to share?
Innovation tu-ds
Nike Innovation has perfected a remarkable process: take an exciting idea, overcomplicate it, poorly position it, leave it half-finished, and then ceremoniously dump it on Inline’s doorstep.
“Here you go, team. Innovation!”
Except it isn’t innovation. It’s a tu-d wearing a futuristic PowerPoint deck.
The concept is incomplete. The consumer story is vague. The business case is missing. The execution is barely house-trained. Yet somehow, everyone stands around admiring the bowl and congratulating themselves on the flush.
Then Inline gets handed the plunger.
They have to clean it up, make it manufacturable, explain why anyone should buy it, and somehow turn the whole steaming pile into an actual product. When it struggles, Innovation can conveniently claim that Inline “didn’t protect the vision.”
What vision? The one circling the drain?
Nike Innovation doesn’t deliver finished solutions. It delivers Innovation tu-ds™: expensive, poorly positioned droppings packaged with buzzwords, dramatic renderings, and absolutely no toilet paper.

Truth: one bad cycle follows you longer than anyone will tell you upfront
There is bias toward last year’s poor ranking.
Train wreck feedback session
More and more supervisors are admitting in feedback sessions that the ranking system is broken and assessment outcomes make no sense.
Layoffs Rumors - What’s Happening in FA
Just heard rumors about potential layoffs in August/September in Fusion apps . It seems like the selection process might involve a review of unvested stocks not performance – anyone have any insights on what that looks like?
RootMetrics losses to AT&T
Wireless is losing to AT&T in more markets than usual in the RootMetrics comparative benchmarks. The New England region is particularly hard hit. Losses in Boston, Hartford, Providence, and Worcester. They seem to be taking Dan at his word that he doesn’t care all that much about being the best network!

Just Move the Goalposts
An analyst somewhere says that Phillips 66 is in the wrong peer group. The analyst says that because of Midstream and Chemicals our peers should be Exxon, Chevron and other similarly integrated energy companies. If we did that we’d be outperforming almost everyone.
If we do that why not just say that VLO and MPC are not our peers anymore. Just the smaller refiners.
Promotion Guide Help
What’s the latest CL promotion Guide?

Avg Outstanding = 2yrs
Avg Excellent = 4yrs
Avg V Good = 8yrs
Avg Good = 16yrs

Thanks for any useful info.
Outstanding Performance with Distinction.
What % of employees get OPD…Is it reserved for Hi-POs? And do they get it every year? How are they rewarded vs the rest of the us?
Staring down the end of 3Q 2026
What surprises lie in store? What choices are being made to manage the end of quarter numbers? Not for employee benefit certainly, but to make the board think that real work is being done.
Shudder.
PepsiCo: Where Is The Sense Of Urgency?
There is no sense of urgency at PEP, they seem content with their negative return on the stock, they seem content trying to deceive everyone by celebrating failure as a raging success.

Field Leadership Needs to Go
Sales has been given some great products & tools since 2001. Them & Capital Management has largely been insulated from the changes. Yet, year after year, they dramatically underperform. Time to get close & get a microscope & do a colonoscopy w/o the sedation.
Career and Performance Tab
I can no longer see career and performance tab on mysites is this true for all?
John Stinky Market based ….
Dear John. We would like some market based accountability on your dismal performance as Chief Ego Officer. All your inflated projections that don’t make a dent in your very poor performance. If we are treating talent based on performance you should have been gone a long time ago you mo--n.
FCC Starlink decision timeline
You need to watch FCC decision if SPACEX can use Starlink in lieu of terrestial cell tower, land based network.FCC postponed final decision, but temporarily turned down SpaceX 2x.The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has not set a specific calendar date for its final decision regarding SpaceX's request. Instead, the agency is following an administrative timeline under its High-Cost Subsidies Modernization proceeding, with reply comments due by September 3, 2026.
Current Timeline and Status The Postponement/Defferal: While the FCC approved the multi-billion dollar EchoStar spectrum license transfer to SpaceX, it explicitly deferred and left pending SpaceX's separate application to bypass standard terrestrial frameworks via its Direct-to-Device (D2D) network. [1]
The Debate over Land-Based Networks: SpaceX has actively lobbied the FCC to "wind down and sunset" its $4.5 billion annual rural broadband subsidy program, claiming that low-Earth orbit (LEO) networks like Starlink make building out traditional land-based telecom infrastructure obsolete.
Industry Pushback: SpaceX currently "stands alone" in this request. Rural telephone cooperatives, cable operators, and fiber groups heavily oppose the proposal, arguing that land-based infrastructure remains vital. What is Next?
The FCC must review the public feedback collected after the September 3, 2026 reply deadline before a final ruling can be made. In the meantime, the FCC's first strict technical performance deadline for SpaceX's newly acquired spectrum is set for November 30, 2029, which requires the company to prove outdoor satellite coverage metrics rather than a full retail market launch.
If you want to track how this unfolds, let me know if you would like info on how to view the official FCC filings or details on SpaceX's technical plan to combine satellite beams with small ground stations.
Mediocre Engineers
Everything with these guys are "we are working on it", "that's under review" or "that's on X's plate".
H and his big mouth need to be stopped to keep from dragging down everybody else. His constant sabotage to make himself looks good is really hurting the bottom line.

Anyone tried talking to IBM recruiters for roles after a previous RA (non performance based). What is recorded in their internal systems for people who get RAed
Potential 2nd round layoffs
Hi everyone, I am wondering who is really on the chopping block for this? I know low performers, but what about those that started less than a year ago? Just wondering because Centene usually is known for laying off low performers and those who are new to the company.
The more I think about layoffs, the less they make sense
Managers know who's dependable, who consistently delivers, and who the team relies on. Yet some of the people who get let go are exactly those employees. It makes me wonder whether the decisions are made by people looking at spreadsheets instead of the actual work.
BTC Expats & Ranking
I’m starting to see a lot more BTC expats in my building….nothing against them, but will they at least be ranked for performance against US local team members?
Stock grants reduced
Level 50, my stock grants are down from 65k last year to 55k this year. How much have you got? Please also mention your level.
Structural cost savings but no ability to execute now
The upstream has been gutted. We are staffed for copy and past Guyana and copy and paste Permian. With the Horizon challenge nothing is copy and paste now. Executives baffled why everything isn’t like Guyana and Permian. Endless effort being expended to hold their hands and explain to them why everything isn’t not as easy as Permian and Guyana. Sadly they aren’t smart enough to understand so just keep yelling at the teams to find a way.

Separation date for 2027
For those who got a separation date past September are you actually planning on sticking it out? I’m so torn since my separation is for May 2027. I had planned on hopefully getting the VSP with a separation in September. Now to be stuck in limbo until May with trying to meet performance and having it held over my head that I can be let go without a package at any time. I honestly regret accepting the VSP and wish I would’ve taken my chances at being laid off.
Team space decommission
The good news is that "Team space" has been decommissioned.
The bad news is that it has been replaced by an upgraded version: performance.
Over the years, Cisco has remained obsessed with these pointless games.
Put simply, there are just too many managers who do nothing but talk big.
V2MOM is now everywhere.
Refining Miss?
Today XOM missed earnings, DW attributed the miss largely to the refining business. If youre not paying attention, refining crack spreads (profit per barrel) are the largest they've ever been. Isn't DW the refining CEO...how does the board accept and explain this comparative performance to CVX?
Is the VP from the legacy S company still necessary for ESG?
What are his contributions over the years?
2nd Quarter Earnings
Great to see all the initiatives and strategies correlate into strong earnings.
Lead to One should continue to drive meaningful value and strong financial results.
What have raises been like for everyone?
I received my smallest raise ever this year (aside from zero during Covid). I had a good rating this year as well. Is this normal or does my boss hate me?
Starbucks Boosts Financial Outlook Amid Turnaround Success
The coffee giant has again increased its annual sales and profit projections, signaling a strong recovery. CEO Brian Niccol's strategic initiatives have successfully revitalized customer demand for the company. This positive performance has led to a notable increase in the company's stock value. Starbucks is now anticipating higher global same-store sales growth and improved earnings per share. The company's focus remains on operational improvements and cost management.

Is it just me, or has morale taking an even further nose dive
Referring to claims but may be other departments too. I really didn’t think it could be worse than rock bottom but here comes big blue with the excavator. My manager used to be ok but he is becoming militant and aggressive, due to those above him. A low performer on the team got fired. Threats of performance management for missing a single metric. More and more being dumped on the plate. This job has always been a toxic cesspool, but somehow it’s getting worse
John is making money, now what about us?
John should be realizing with all this cash, employees are looking around going what about us? He and the executives will be making cash for themselves but we don’t get anything extra at all for all these record breaking results.
Him and those over paid HR goofs better start thinking of ways to give employees a bit more or the motivation to keep preforming won’t be there.
