The best move here is to not fill this out, correct?
Next VRP offer?
Any idea when it would be for the next VRP offer? Any change to the eligibility and severance package?
Evernorth Care Group sold to honorhealth
Sale will go through in January.
Layoff possibility?
A couple of managers were let go last year on my larger team. One manager had 2 employees that were let go about 4 months ago. My manager had a team of 5 including myself. One of my colleagues has now been promoted to a senior role. The other 4 of... — read more
Bit off way more than I could chew
I thought saying yes to everything would keep me safe from layoffs, and now I’m drowning in twice the workload. Cutting back feels impossible without risking everything, and I’m just exhausted. Not sure any of this even helped, so take it from me... — read more
Downcoding visits as of 10/1
Not a good look. Its getting a lot of bad mentions on social media. This is probably why they wanted employees to be social media "advocates". (Cue eye roll.) You want regulators and Congress after you, DC? This is the way.
Cigna Corporate Culture
Hi - I'm looking for new opportunities and may consider Cigna. Very few companies seem like great places to work. But it seems like employee dissatisfaction is comparatively low. Any thoughts on taking a job here?
Next round of layoffs
Does anyone with access to the layoff calendar know when the next round of layoffs is happening?
VRP replacement
I applied for a job that they are filling due to 3 people taking VRP. Is this a good move? I thought they wanted to cut the workforce, not replace them.
VRP - September 26th
Hi everyone - just curious if anyone else at Cigna signed the VRP and has already been given their departure date. I was told today mine is 9/26 - anyone else joining me on that date?
Surviving without burning out
I used to push myself to know everything and ended up on the edge of burnout. Now that I dial it back, things feel way more manageable. It seems like pretending not to know too much while staying polite keeps the workload under control.

So done with layoffs
You win, Cigna. You win. I'll be out of here as soon as I land a new job. And I'll do my best to make it as soon as possible. Your plan is working. Also, fu-k you.
More layoffs today
Another 7 or 8 people from marketing let go this week.
Need suggestions please
I know this probably isn’t the perfect place to ask, but I can’t get an objective answer from my manager or the directors. I’ve tried, but all I get are vague responses. I’m hoping someone can give me a straight opinion on how to handle this. I’m a... — read more
Hiring Freeze?
Is there an internal hiring freeze? Hardly seeing any posts internally. Any insight on when this will lift? Aren’t we recession / tariff proof?
I’m struggling to find the drive to look for a new role
The thought of starting the whole search process over again is exhausting. I want to leave, I really do, but having to interview at my age is extremely daunting. I'm honestly not sure how to get over it.
Planning Next Layoff
All band 4+ employees must plan their succession (replacement) and justify their skills via Workday before the end of the month. Data will be used for more layoffs and offshoring.
Wake up!
The biggest shareholders/stakeholders in Cigna are Blackrock and Vanguard - the same people that own most shares of the food industries, hospitals, and corporate banks! These are the same people that are part of the “swamp” that Trump talks about... — read more
Opex to 27
From the genius who brought you Drive to 25, comes the thrilling sequel you didn’t ask for "Opex to 27!" This bold new initiative is here to revolutionize the way Cigna operates by… well… making life absolutely miserable for its employees and its... — read more

Cigna Group Social Media Champions
Neato! We can now be unpaid shills for the company through our personal social media accounts. And people are apparently doing this? Good God we have some absolute lemmings on payroll.
Big push for Trump to end H1-B visas
H1-Bs are a scam and a way for American companies to import cheap, compliant labor. Companies use them to suppress wages for Americans. Many of us have or will be affected. If Trump cancels all H1-Bs, he will become the most popular President we... — read more
Welp, that didn't last long
New personal record: I made it a whole three months at Cigna before wanting to run for the hills. Impressive toxicity levels. Congrats, team!
Tariff discussion and impact on HIH
US is putting 25% tariff on India (until he changes his mind of coz) Is that a good news for people living in US ? Will that slow down the HIH recruitment ?
Cigna stock down 8%

Heard they staff HIH close to 10K by 2027
I don’t find that surprising anymore. The way they achieved a good 2K target in just an year is something. Enbrace for more role transfers to HIH. This time . It is not just engineers, but PM, PO, SM ,BA every single role essentially .
Changes to TECDP
What do you guys make of the changes to the TECDP program that were announced this morning? To me, this seems like a move to slowly ki-l the program and to shift the hiring of new tech grads to HIH instead of from US universities. Also, I’m curious... — read more
Stay away if possible

Who of you has obeyed leadership and tried out 365?
Our recent town hall was basically a mandate ti start using the AI tools. I tested it out and came away very unimpressed. Grok and ChatGPT were able to resolve my issue better than 365. I hope I’m on the list of team players now.
Reality for the over 50 layoffs
New data shows 24% of people laid off between ages 50-65 can't find another job. Those who do? Average 11% pay cut. Men take 15% hits, women 7%. The wait is worse: 55-64 year olds spend 26 weeks unemployed vs 19 weeks for younger workers. Many... — read more
Dopey leaders pushing HIH are about 15 years too late
All the labor arbitrage is short term with AI looming large. Cigna and other fortune 500's won't need their massive workforce as AI replaces much of what everyone does. HIH made sense in 2010 but there isn't enough runway now. Stop the madness. ... — read more

My time here is nothing but stress and second-guessing

Today’s org announcements - what was the point?
I can’t make sense of the flurry of org announcements today. It seems to just be a bunch of senior leaders swapping roles. Can anyone explain what the point of all of this was?
