Did anyone return their laptop and phone? I was told that someone would reach out to me about sending my stuff back to IT, but that never happened. Severance check cleared, so I guess I will just give the phone to my kid and trash the bricked... — read more
On a more positive note - smart basket
This seems to be a brilliant strategy. If we can pull it off it could be a game changer. There is a HUGE financial commitment to make it happen. I hope it does. 🙏
Its about to get real ugly.
Did anyone see the Fiserv earning and subsequent drip of 44% in the stock price. FIS in sympathy is down 9%. Announcement off 100k of layoffs between the mag 7. Things are starting to fet real.
Customer Center drop confirmed
Confirmed today by SVP in town hall that customer center group for one of the biggest clients will go away. They are taking it back like some other posters mentioned. Plan is for it to go back in May 2026. Big loss.
More coming
There will be more layoffs before years end. Nothing says Happy Holidays like a good old fashioned RIF. Support for clients is terrible and getting worse by the day. Pretty unhappy place to work these days.
Metrics
Management is pushing for all metrics in various reports to look pristine. One project had a tasks at 100%, which was questioned as the project is most likely, with accurate reporting, in a red status. Response was that the initial jobs or tasks were... — read more
Global Payments/TSYS
If you have any questions about GP/TSYS feel free to ask here. Every town hall we’ve had this year they’ve given strict direction to NOT speak to anyone from FIS regarding the Global Payments/TSYS Issuing divestiture. We also went through a massive... — read more
I need a new job
Even my free time isn’t safe from stress anymore. It was never ideal, but when did things become THIS bad?
This company sounds like global payments
I am from legacy tsys which global payments ripped apart after acquiring and got rid of alot of americans to give the jobs offshore. This company is about to take over tsys issuing which global payments su-ked dry and is now dumping. From reading... — read more
Layoffs have changed this place so much
It feels like working in limbo. Everyone’s just waiting for the next round of cuts, going through the motions. It was never fun here, but it used to be friendly. Now nobody talks, everyone’s just waiting for the other shoe to drop. It’s so draining... — read more
Losing clients
FIS LOST A WHOLE DEPARTMENT BECAUSE OF HOW BADLY CS WAS LED. The client wants to do it themselves again. THIS IS CRAZY! The investors can feel the cost cutting as well when interacting with this company, the cs line must be awesome xD
Open Enrollment
It has been crickets and in the past it has been out there by now. What is the hold up or should I say what is the plan???
Work question - payments one iso8583
Hello, Originally from Fiserv so I'm well aware of this site and the talent that lurks here so I figured I'd ask. I work for a core processor and I've found that in my production environment that I never receive an auth cycle or a consistent... — read more
Disturbing lack of young talent
I look around and realize most of the team has been here for decades. No fresh talent, no mentoring, no future pipeline. It’s like leadership never thought ahead. What happens when everyone retires? We’re running on borrowed time.
** Dropping
I am a manager with a team taking calls for a big mutual funds client.. It was not communicated officially but there is chatter that they don't want our service anymore, looks like it's a done deal. We don't know if that means layoffs for all our... — read more
I'm still pi---d off over being laid off
People keep saying it’s just business, but that doesn’t make it hurt less. Years of effort, and they toss you aside like it’s nothing.
November Action
Today, my manager informed me that I’m part of the next round of actions, as my role is affected by the organizational health measures set by McKinsey. My team is being reassigned to different functional lines, and my manager mentioned that the RIF... — read more

Severance Pay - Share your Numbers!
Bored. I can’t hide the fact that I’m nervous about layoffs. I’ve been with the company for over 8 years. If you’re open to sharing, how many years did you work for the company, what was your salary at the time, and how much did you get paid? Did... — read more

Prediction on people resigning at the first of the year
With the ill-received change to the 401k employer contribution*, I wonder how many people are waiting to retire at the first of the year so that they can get the 2025 contribution.
Don't quit, for goodness' sake
I see so many people just walking away, and it makes me so angry. You’re doing them a favor! Make them lay you off! Make them pay you! Don’t do exactly what they want with everything they’ve been doing and the toxic atmosphere they’ve created. Why?... — read more

Employee monitoring
Does FIS use user tracking software to monitor our activity. I’ve noticed recently that my manager has been messaging me more frequently when it is a slow day. Really makes it hard to enjoy working here.
is 9/30 still a RIF date?
Any new dates, details, etc for upcoming rifs?
I’m quitting next week
I found a mediocre job at a not-so-stellar company. The pay and benefits are about the same, definitely not an upgrade. But at least they seem stable for now, and I just couldn’t deal with this cr-p here any longer. After a 25-year career, I’ve ended... — read more

Has Teams Organisation Been Updated
If it was not for this site, I would have no idea that such a RIF was taking place and I know of no one who had been ‘let go’. Has the organisation shown in Teams been updated? Some higher up folk have not been on line since 9/4.
