Our teams leads are being told to use AI for our appraisals. I’m not comfortable with them giving my information away with you my permission.

@b2+1kjbbze82 Makes a great point. These creeps are putting our pictures in Gemini, putting in our personal and work information and god knows what else. This needs to stop!!

Seems things got messy in Col

Just FYI, heard a customer service rep there sent a mass email to upper management accusing two managers of abusing their power - from being disrespectful in meetings to falsely accusing and writing them up to protect themselves.
It seems the rep asked to be transferred out of fear of retaliation, but nothing happened, so they escalated it and said they’ll keep emailing until someone responds.

(no names, please, mods could nuke the whole thread)

Fake work and AI

The positive side with Ai. Now I can pretend work with useless Ai trainings. I am working with fake POC with Ai. Ask ai for some dummy implementation and call it as my poc.
I can watch Netflix whole day and still get good performance review, because everything now must have Ai, regardless if is useful or not.

The overlords do read this so post away and keep the in fear and guessing.

I have overheard the supervisors and managers talking about the posts and disgruntled employees posting on this site. It truly scares them and they don't want the new hires knowing about all the dysfunction and toxicity. Some covered up safety violations and firings have been exposed and posted. I loved in a town hall the then CEO of exxon mentioned that employees were posting they were year to year contractors and that this was eroding morale. Some exxon sites operate on intimidation and fear tactics. I attended a meeting where my stupidvisor threatened everyone with insubordination and retaliation for complaining. The stupidvisor said I don t want to have to fire anyone as they had the power to do it. They took pleasure in firing several contractors in the section. It talked so bad about the terminated employees and said they just were not excon material. One employee was fired to cover up the mistake of an employee friend of the supervisor. The supervisor would go out to lunch with this protected employee. There are some real evil snakes in exxon management. Several of the safety incidents should have been reported to OSHA but the employees are to scared and intimidated to do so.

Report Them All

FIS Official Anonymous Ethics Hotline and Reporting

Start lighting fires and speak up. We already know they don't care, so throw some gasoline on the fire and start throwing all these do nothing cowards under the bus.

M-rating

I received an M rating, and people are telling me it’s bad? . I’m the smartest person on my team and my “boss” is an unqualified Saudi woman. I’ve emailed her boss and told him as much, but I don’t know if that will help? To those of you considering coming here, be mindful they prioritize their own despite how much value you may add.

Amon talking about instant gratification

in the AHM he talked about the stock price and talked about how QC won't ever get you instant gratification. What the f is he talking about? It's been 5 years and the stock hasn't moved. Sure, it's oscillated up and down, but if we don't have ESPP or RSUs to sell it's useless.

I am going to start emailing the board to point them to all the anonymous threads showing the employees hate this leadership.

I have PTSD from working at exxon.

I recently left exxon after several years of anguish. The last couple of years were unbearable for me. I was on mental health leave for the last 6 months and finally resigned. I cannot get over the persecution and harassment I recieved at exxon. I feel that every where I work from now on will be as bad as exxon. I have not looked for work because of this fear. I have many skills and could land a job easily but my fear keeps me from applying. It has only been about 5 months since I have left and I still have nightmares and bad thoughts about my time at exxon. My therapist says it will take time to heal and forget about the trauma. I recently had lunch with some old co workers and of course they brought up the supervisors and managers which tormented me. I fell into a deep depression because I was reminded of the past. It has gotten better but I still have days where I fixate on the horrific experience. I was advised to find a new job to occupy my mind and this could help my recovery. For those of you who think I am exaggerating I was the victim of s-xual harassment and verbal abuse by a male boss. HR investigated and of course found no hard evidence or wrong doing. It was my word against his and he won. The witness who saw the harassment did not collaborate my story as she feared for her job. This monster is still employed by exxon and probably will retire with a nice pension while I have to find a new career. All of the male supervisors and managers at exxon are perverts. They all want to talk to the young pretty girls and sit on the desks. Pay attention next time a pretty woman enters the room see all the males flock to her like flies to honey. Some female employees use this to their advantage but I chose not to. As one poster said "there is something seriously wrong at exxon".

Did I Strike a Nerve

I had comment deleted from the Bartlesville layoff thread. In my posted I discussed how I thought Go-Go and Tractor Man likely feel about layoffs.
I guess I struck a nerve with someone because it’s been deleted.
It was up for ~24 hours before being deleted so quite a few people got to see it.

Ethics and Compliance

Interesting that the entire Dell Ethics and Compliance page has been disabled. Also, the page for reporting ethics violations about people to a third party (“anonymously”) goes to a 404 Error page. I guess ethics don’t matter any more at Dell. No way to report ethics violations. Gotta protect those leaders!

Prioritize your family everybody

I read a comment saying someone was told by Fidelity that they were approved to move to take care of their ailing mother, and then Fidelity said “sike”. To the person in that predicament, I’m sorry Fidelity did this to you.

I read a rumor that Fidelity employees may only need to come to the office once a week once again instead. I say RUMOR because I’m unsure how truthful that is.

Regardless of the situation, whoever’s reading this, please don’t forget to spend time with your loved ones. Most of us come here to vent. And that’s ok. Just don’t forget to be around people who make your life meaningful.

That’s all. Have a good weekend. If you’re on the east coast, safe during the incoming snow.

Stay quiet if you know what's good for you

Pointing out issues or problems is a surefire way to get marked as a troublemaker. The response of those above you - in my experience but others as well - is never to address the issue, but to punish the messenger. Needless to say, HR is not your friend in this process, so you end up being sc--wed over for trying to fix things. Just don't bother.
