Wfh staff layoffs- attorney conversations?
More are being chopper soon and as a mgr seeing the intentional bs behind it, forced ratings , blocked promotions and much more, i’d love to help get any ball rolling for a lawsuit against this place
Weekly or lump sum
Does anyone know if our severance will be paid out in what format?
When someone gets RIF what happens next
When some one gets RIF
do they lose all their unused Pto also?
Hope they get good severance package
What else they need to know
12/19 Exits - Don't Forget to Revoke Elec Dist of Tax Forms
Developing a checklist of what to do pretty quick. Remember if you have Electronic Distribution set for W2 and 1095-C, you need to go to payroll site and select TAX FORMS and then opt (radio button at bottom of page) to Revoke Electronic Distribution of EACH Form.
Happy exiting. I am still sick and mad at my riff but trying to adjust.
Group calls and fainting…
I thought the report of a “leader” sacking a whole team on Webex was the most disturbing. Then the worst came in later, when I heard someone fainted after being told and had to have an ambulance called for them… this should have been handled much better.
Pay stub
How can you access your pay stubs once you’ve left Wells Fargo ?
Looking at my severance amount and it looks like they did not include my vacation time?
Anyone else seeing the same? Maybe I am not looking at this the way I should. Please help.
Severance package formula?
Does anyone know what they use to determinate the sev package? Is it 2 weeks a year? Straight 6 month salary?? Etc
Do we get unemployment as well?
I want to milk this to the maximum. I earned it after 12 years here.
Does FIS allow unused vacation days to roll over to the next year?
Hi everyone.
Current TSYS employee here. I am wondering if FIS rolls over your unused vacation days to the following year. What's the policy around it? Because currently in GPN, we have to use it in the same year or lose it.
Anyone able to negotiate severance?
Part of the 9/19 bloodbath and got laid off without notice.
Aren't we supposed to get 60 day notice due to the federal WARN act? WARN violations charge $500 per day of violation. We should be getting an extra $30,000 to our severance.
30 day notice? What happened to WARN rules?
I’m in California and I thought we were supposed to get a 60 day notice vs a 30 day notice. Is this something I should reach out to HR?
Severance Package?
What’s the severance package like? Enhanced and 3 weeks per year like it’s been in the past? Standard 2 weeks per year? Or is it really just 1 week per year like some rumors have mentioned?
VCG B6 15yr
Employed through 2/20 per NJ Law. Severance portal opens at 1ET. EPP extended 1yr though so...woohoo.
Help me understand
I wonder why Union isn’t involved in layoffs because every where I read if the company is restructuring even Union could be laid off! I safely assume August 2026 no more contracts for Union employees. Someone help me understand.
Outsourcing Steals our future. Verizon or anywhere else.
Emails started going to US employees, slack channels for US employees only started showing up.
They are protecting the offshore employees from seeing this ugly carnage here in the US.
US companies keep making billions here, yet they fire American workers and ship jobs overseas. Outsourcing is booming 980 billion this year and projected to grow to 1.6 trillion in 5 years, all these are US jobs getting outsourced while families here drown under rising healthcare and living costs.
WE NEED TO REACT
The HIRE Act was built to protect OUR jobs, but Congress lets it rot while CEOs like Hans and Dan cash bonuses. If we don’t support laws for U.S. workers, no one will.
Call your lawmakers, flood them with requests to support US workers and not to cave in to outsourcing lobbiest:

USA should pass a law for Free healthcare for laidoff workers paid by the company laying off
USA should pass a law that says, any corporation laying off or firing anyone in USA who is under the age of 65 will get free paid Healthcare until they reach age 65 when Medicare kicks in.
Join the Union
Please take some time and review and send in especially if you are a frontline worker. Regardless of what happens on 11/20/2025 we should join. We have been getting raises less then inflation for years, our Rx coverages got way worse and our insurance increased by 30% of cost while removing almost all employee discounts from other companies. That whole new program actually cost more then retail in most cases. Providing awards points which are pennies on the dollar while PSO workers get weekends off but reps who have been performing well for over a decade can't see their families on the weekend.
This needs to stop now!

Stock Together Gone
Has anyone else noticed “stock together” is now gone from “your total rewards” page?
Furthermore, according to the last non-voluntary severance documents, they paid you a prorated amount of your stock units.
That would equate to 83% of THIS years stock award you will get to keep. The rest for the following years will be forfeited.
How long does it actually take for severance to show up?
Does it hit with the next pay period or does it usually come later?
RIF & Retirement
If you're RIF'd on Thursday and are retirement eligible, do you still get retirement benefits?
Is personal time paid out ?
Anyone know if personal hours are also paid out in addition to unused pto? In CA we get an annual payout in the spring so I am wondering if that would also be included in addition to our pto payout and severance (yes I know severance and pto are paid out separately)
Severance and Unemployment Benefits
Does anyone know if you can collect unemployment if you have been given severance?
Unionize now to fight for a better tomorrow
If we’d been unionized, Verizon could not just blindsided 15,000 of us overnight. A union contract legally forces the company to negotiate the layoff process first, things like timelines, criteria, alternatives, notice periods, and protections. They can’t just drop the axe and walk away. It becomes a fight, not a surprise.
Are concession devices locked up or wiped out remotely on layoff day?
I'm talking about laptops, cell phones, etc.
Are laid off people's devices locked up and wiped out the day of? Or are laid off employees still considered employees until the end of the year with limited access to their devices?
401k Vested duration
How long does one have to be at COP to keep the companies invested portion of the 401k. I am still in college and currently interviewing for a role here.
I've heard it is 3 years but also 5 years? Which is it for full time?
Thank you in advance, I was too shy to ask the recruiter.
200% increase in board bonuses
In 2024, Christian Klein, the CEO of SAP, received a total compensation package of approximately €19 million ($19.9 million), which included significant bonuses tied to the company's performance and share price increase. This amount marked a 165% increase from the previous year, reflecting the company's strong performance in the AI sector and overall growth.
One of the reasons given for regular layoffs is that there’s not enough money at SAP. The main reason for cutting benefits and MOVE SAP is that there isn’t enough money. And in March, there will be a lower salary appraisal for everyone because there isn’t enough money and because performance management makes it easy to pay less.
Despite this, the board is negotiating with the supervisory board about increasing their bonuses for 2025. To give you an example, CK is supposed to get €23 million for his “exceptional work” in 2025 which is a massive 200% increase compared to 2023.
This is despite the fact that the stock price is plummeting to less than €200 by the end of the year.
This is redistribution of wealth from the poor to the rich. Call your supervisory board members and ask them to stop this. The board should get a pay cut and lower bonuses. And the money saved should be used to give salary appraisals to employees.
Billy boy and his BS lines
Do you think Billy is so out of touch that when he says things like ‘all in’, 'know your brief' and ‘lead from the front,’ he genuinely thinks we’re inspired and in awe of him… when really we’re just thinking ‘bellend'?
Same with old man JC and his 'cool' teeshirts. Cringe off the scale.
They're rich and won't give a sht what us minions think. It's like when an old person stinks, or has food on their face, you hope someone close to them tells them for their own sake.
Why US companies prefer H1-Bs
Indian-origin Howard professor Ronil Hira, a critic of the H-1B visa, explained why U.S. companies favor it. Despite President Trump recently signaling a need for certain foreign talent, the administration imposed a $100,000 fee on H-1B hires, sending mixed messages. Hira noted that many H-1B workers have ordinary skills available domestically, but employers prefer them because they can be paid less and are bound to their employers. While some highly skilled workers do come via H-1B, the program often fills roles for cost and control rather than genuine skill gaps. Hira emphasized that H-1B is a labor policy, not an immigration issue, and criticized its weak worker protections, which make it attractive to Silicon Valley.

This is why we need universal healthcare.
The biggest loss in a layoff is losing your Healthcare. If we had universal Healthcare you could go work anywhere for a paycheck and it wouldn't hurt so bad. Hanging the healthcare carrott over our heads is what allows companies to keep us scared to leave or be let go.
I've never thought universal healthcare was a good idea but this has opened my eyes. Not having it keeps us scared, stuck, and deters us from taking a leap for a potentially better opportunity elsewhere.
Payment in lieu of warn
WARN requires 60 calendar days' written notice. The law makes no provision for any alternative such as pay in place of a notice. While an employer who pays workers for 60 calendar days instead of giving them proper notice technically has violated WARN, the provision of pay and benefits in place of a notice is a possible option. Because WARN provides for back pay and benefits for the period of the violation, up to 60 days, generally this approach by an employer—pay in place of notice—means that the employer has already met the penalty specified in the Act, if the payment is not required to be made. WARN allows voluntary payments of wages and benefits to be offset against any damages that might be awarded.

Pay attention Warn notice is not required
The only thing company has to do to avoid the 90 day notice is to be giving enough severance and benefits to cover the 90 days .So they let you go today as long as your getting enough pay and benefits for next 90 days there you go.So verizon already provides severance and benefits to leave no need for prior 90 before being let go
OSHA
We need someone to reach out to osha wage theft for salary employees
Housekeeping reminder - Save EOY reviews, save personal files
Send mid year and end of year pdfs to your personal email. It’ll come in handy to update resume
If you have any personal stuff on work laptop, remember to send it to your personal emails/laptops.
Better to be safe Incase access gets restricted or completely removed.
Seems like a no brainer but I remember one of my X-co workers
In a different company had terrible experience. He was with the same company for so long that he didn’t realize how much personal stuff he had forgotten to transfer to personal computer. Then one day laptop access was all one & it got very chaotic.
SOLV employees should sue Bryan Hanson
Poor performance, multiple waves of layoffs, running the company to the ground. Bryan Hanson should be sued by Solventum employees, not paid $40 million. Please consult a good employment attorney to explore this option.
