I had my manager call me today and ask for my skills and education background. He told me company is again further more looking at skills and determining who should be placed where. He never used the word layoffs or reduction. CIO tower.

ADP has been doing layoffs for over ten years now. Once longtime employees start making to much money the company starts cutting jobs and rehires for cheaper labor.

The company is calling these "redundancies" however there is no way there is another team capable of carrying our projects forward.

Microsoft has decided to reorganize and restructure operations resulting in the elimination of 493 positions located at Microsoft’s Puget Sound facilities at One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052. Microsoft is also eliminating 112 remote positions located within Puget Sound. All 605 positions will be permanently eliminated as of September 4, 2026. Well since they changed the timeframe of the VSP acceptance process from the 15th to the 27th, what are people actual thoughts on the extended window now. Does it mean more people than expected accepted the VSP or not enough and they want to see what needs to be done in the "resturcturing" faze of the layoffs in August. Also I want to know to anyone who accepted the VSP if things for you on a daily basis going fwd with your team is or has changed before the 27th. I know a higher level of person will be conducting the approval process, but since the VSP list is done does any of this info will trickle down to your managers ...sups...ect. I just hope people dont start getting treated diff since they are accetoing the VSP. please share if anything diff is happening for you since the deadline has passed.. TY

I've noticed that layoffs only get announced if the affected group leaks it. Otherwise they just pretend it didn't happen. It's absurd.

I've been here eighteen years and I'm watching everything I valued about this place disappear. The good people are leaving, projects are dying, and what's left truly isn't worth staying for.

How is there a hiring freeze with new positions posted at a lower pay range? They are literally playing in our faces and it’s disappointing to witness.

I think the endless surgical layoffs and toxic environment are designed to make people quit. Don't fall for it. Make them pay you to leave if that's what they want.

Management only seems to know how to cut costs. They can't grow the business, so they just keep trimming people. But that approach is making the innovation problem even worse, which brings us back to square one. They're stuck in a pattern they can't seem to escape.

I'm on edge about whether there will be cuts this week. I wouldn't put it past them to do it just after the holiday.

I keep seeing people expect this to be over soon and that things will go back to normal. It's hard not to pity them. Normal is so far behind us it's barely a dot on the horizon anymore. There's no "over soon." This horror is the new normal.

I see people on this board agreeing about how bad things are, but in real life I work with people who don't seem to care. Nobody seems too worried about layoffs, the secrecy, or the eroding culture. How can anyone not be angry about this?

This was said by other people as well, but I have to reiterate. We've lost so many people that the rest of us are drowning. We can't lose anymore. Unless their goal is to get all of us to quit. In that case, job well done.

Today I got an email of a mandatory meeting, there is a new partnership for customer service, and if you check the news it's Hexaware, which is a company that is known for replacing staff for AI. I'm not surprised due to hiring issues but makes sense why no one has been replaced yet.

I've been trying to stay on top of what's happening but I haven't seen anything concrete. Does anyone have any updates on the current layoff situation?
